Excellent Sales help I recently purchased an XC90 from Smythe Volvo. Mt salesperson was Debbie Amster. She has been enormously helpful and friendly during this process, an I recently purchased an XC90 from Smythe Volvo. Mt salesperson was Debbie Amster. She has been enormously helpful and friendly during this process, and continues to check back with me periodically to make sure I am happy with the car or to answer any questions about it. Debbie was also highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the car itself, as well as the process of finding and purchasing the exact model I wanted. She was patient with my extended decision-making process, and answered all of my questions with care and specificity. If she didn't know an answer, she made sure to find out and let me know. Debbie has been particularly helpful in teaching me the tech aspects of the car; she really knows what she is doing. She also took me to meet a few of the service people and showed me around the service area. During this process, I worked with other Smythe employees also, and each and every one was helpful and friendly. I am happy to be a Smythe customer, and happy to have connected with Debbie for my sales experience. More

My Luxury Volvo XC90 Deserves Luxury Details During my first visit to Smythe Volvo, I noticed the professional pinstriping on some of the cars in the showroom. I was introduced to Andres Gomez, who leads the Detail Center at Smythe Volvo. I purchased a gorgeous Volvo XC90 Inscription T6 AWD. I have pride in ownership and I want the very best for my Volvo. Andres is truly an artist with his pinstriping. He placed black and silver pinstriping that perfectly accented the 21" black diamond cut alloy wheels. Andres also placed car door edge guards to protect my vehicle from nicks, chips and scratches. The car door edge guards are virtually invisible. Andres is also an expert in placing the Simoniz GlassCoat for the interior and the exterior of my VolvoXC90. The Simoniz GlassCoat increases the factory gloss and provides additional coverage that you don't get from the manufacturer. I will be seeing Andres regularly to hand wash and detail my Volvo. After my daughter totaled my 2011 C70 purchased at Smythe (I loved that car) I went back to Smythe because they have always done me right. I asked Robert the pre-owned sales manager to find a comparable replacement and that’s what he did. Volvo had discontinued the C70 model (convertible) after 2013 so this car is hard to find since there aren’t many out there. Robert purchased a 2012 with no pressure to buy. It was very close to everything my last car had plus more. Needless to say Robert did a lot of work searching and we were in communication throughout the process. Thank you Robert. Brian in sales helped with the transaction and all the details needed. I can’t say enough about Brian. He is the kind of guy you feel as if you have always known. I was very comfortable dealing with him and genuinely felt that he was looking out for my best interest. He was on top of everything and we communicated via text which was an additional convenience. He even texted me after I got home with my new car to see how my drive home was and made sure I knew to reach out to him if I had any issues. If you decide to visit Smythe ask for Brian. You will be in good hands with him. I say that without reservation. There is a second reason why I returned to Smythe to purchase my second car and that is the consistent, quality service I have always received. Throughout these past years with my other C70, I have been dealing mainly with Dennis in service. He is so very knowledgeable. Anytime I had a question or issue in the past, he was always so good with explaining the mechanisms of the car and what the problem was, no matter what it was. I have always been happy with the quality, friendly service that Dennis has consistently provided. Thank you, Dennis. For this reason and because I realize my car is not a new car (although it feels that way) I had purchased the highest warranty package possible since the car was not new enough to meet the pre-owned certified status. I did this for peace of mind. I highly recommended considering this and I am confident I did the right thing because of the quality service I receive at Smythe Volvo. Thank you, Kevin in finance for guiding me though that process. All in all, as you can see from the other shining reviews that this dealership is valued and trusted. Thank you to everyone I have been dealing with including Maryanne. The commitment to the customer is thorough, and immensely successful. Anyone we've dealt with seems to have the same training, and the same (sincere) approach. Recently, we had two last-minute service needs and Smythe not only found the time for us in the schedule, but did so with enthusiasm! On one occasion, our newly-licensed teenager wanted to take a trip the next day to Connecticut but the car was due for service, and we didn't want him to travel if it wasn't accomplished. When I explained my concern to Tina Dewald, she gladly made room, since she understood the need for our parental "peace of mind"! On a second occasion, we had a more serious issue, needing the car serviced, again, last minute, to allow travel in and out of NYC for a medical emergency. Again, Tina listened and did all she could to make our appointment, not only swiftly but with genuine concern for our kids who would be using the car. Business is business, but it's about people, which makes it personal. Smythe completely gets that. We have no need to have our vehicle services anywhere but Smythe. More

I knew I wanted to work with Smythe because of the amazing service they provided to my old car. The entire service team is friendly, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. Deb really listened to everything I was looking for and found the perfect car for me. She didn't try to sell me on any bells and whistles I wasn't interested in, which was such a nice change of pace. When I went to pick up the car, she sat with me explaining what every button and switch did until I was comfortable driving off. I left the lot feeling confident that I could call her any time with questions, and I would definitely work with her again in the future. More
