Hi Jeremy Fresia, We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience, but we’d like to clarify what actually happened. You ran our lease/payment calculator tool seven different times, changing the inputs to try and generate a lower payment. You also used the TradePending payments tool twice. Each time, the system removed incentives again—stacking rebates that had already been applied and giving you inaccurate numbers. Specifically, instead of it starting the lease calculation at the MSRP of $55,860 and subtracting discounts and rebates once (as it should), the tool started at the already-discounted sale price of $44,024 and then subtracted the incentives again. This double-dipping is a glitch in the tool when it’s manipulated repeatedly, and it’s exactly why those tools are estimators—not final quotes and clearly state that final pricing must be confirmed by a dealership representative. Our General Manager took the time to explain this to you and made it clear that a $280/month lease on a new Wrangler with the specs and terms you wanted simply isn’t possible. We don’t "bait and switch"—we walk customers through every number, just like we did with you. We understand it’s frustrating when the numbers don’t match your expectations, but it’s not fair to call us dishonest for correcting a miscalculation caused by repeated changes to the tool. We’ve been transparent throughout this process. We wish you the best in finding a vehicle that fits your needs and budget. —Brad Deery Motors Team

Hi Jeremy, To clarify again: we never said anything about a trade-in vehicle being involved. What we said is that you used the TradePending payment estimator on our site—not the trade value tool. Despite the similar name, the TradePending Payment Calculator is not a trade-in tool; it's designed to give rough payment estimates using general assumptions. There is also a separate TradePending Trade Tool on the site, but you did not use that. You used the payment estimator by TradePending and the other Payment Calculator in Explore Payments and when you repeatedly adjusted, it incorrectly double-subtracted incentives—starting from the discounted sale price instead of MSRP, then applying rebates again. This is not “bait and switch”—it’s a known limitation of the tool when used this way, which is why we always recommend calling for accurate pricing. We are transparent about our pricing and go out of our way to explain when automated tools provide incorrect data. We also took the time to walk you through why the $280/month lease wasn’t possible for a new Wrangler under the terms you provided. We wish you the best in your search. —Brad Deery Motors Team

Once again, you were coming up with Excuses. First off there is no spot to put in anything for trade-in so that is a lie. After speaking to other wall qualified buyers what you are doing on your website in a small disclaimer is that you need to call for an accurate price because the number I am giving you is nothing more than bait make the phone call and then switched them to your higher monthly payment.

Wrong again. No one took me through why the 280 a month lease would not work. Your general manger was trying to use the tool himself to figure out what was wrong with it. We discussed if his coding was off by a couple of decimal points if it on the dealer who created the website. Not the purchaser. Once again, if you need other examples, I saw that there are other reviewers on Deery that said you’re finance department was extremely shady.. please google Google reviews the ones that you cannot edit and only show the five star reviews once again shady selling tactics that give dealerships bad repuations

Hi Jeremy, We’ve reviewed the full 20-minute and 11-second recorded phone call between you and our General Manager. During that call, he clearly and repeatedly explained that the issue stemmed from the system double-applying incentives. He also asked you to walk him through how you used the tool so we could report the issue to our website provider, which you did. That is not "guessing"—that’s responsible dealership management trying to ensure accuracy on the website and transparency moving forward. There are disclaimers on the website stating: While great effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, errors do occur so please verify information with a customer service rep. This is easily done by calling us or by visiting us at the dealership. These tools are provided as a convenience, but final numbers always depend on lender approval, current incentive availability, creditworthiness, and leasing terms—all of which are determined by the banks, not the dealership. No dealership in the country could meet the $280/month lease expectation for a new Wrangler (at almost $56k before taxes and fees) with the parameters you were using. This is not about shady practices—it’s about financial reality and math. We understand you're upset, but that does not make the facts any less true. We’ve remained respectful and transparent throughout this entire conversation. Again, we sincerely wish you the best of luck finding a vehicle that fits your needs and budget. —Brad Deery Motors Team
