With Clinton Honda, the warmth you find at a Steve Kalafer dealership thankfully lives on with his wonderful son Josh. Let’s face it, there will NEVER be another Steve Kalafer but it’s nice to know th Kalafer dealership thankfully lives on with his wonderful son Josh. Let’s face it, there will NEVER be another Steve Kalafer but it’s nice to know that his boys learned a lot from their Dad. Clinton Honda is the best! Thank you Josh and may God bless you always, Steve. Mike Racano Mike runs the dealership. But not for a second does he makes you feel like “he is the boss”. You feel like he is the friend you came to the dealership with! He is a dynamite guy who gets things done and makes a potentially “adversarial” relationship feel like a satisfying experience. Felix Samiter Felix was my salesman. I never met him before, but I feel like I’ve known him forever. Great guy. Honest. Trustworthy. Professional. Easy going. Felix works hard to make sure the customer is 100% happy. Id recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking to buy a car. Alex Gelfand Alex is the sales manager who in my case was responsible for approving our deal. Absolute pro! He even drove 4 cars out of the narrow showroom doors to get the car purchased out from the middle of them all! I love Alex. Chris Callahan Chris is the business manager who handled the tedious process of signing my deal. In the short hour or so I spent with him, I grew to LOVE this guy. Absolute pro. Great guy. He even gave me a couple of Advils and a bottle of water from his personal stash to wash them down. I now consider Chris a friend. Debbie Greenaway Debbie was the service advisor I dealt with. She is a “car guy”. Very knowledgeable. She goes to bat for you and get great satisfaction taking care of her customers. Deb, you are dynamite! Thanks Clinton Honda! More

I don't know where my last review went, but I've been going to them for service since 2020, when I purchased my Pilot there in April. Original sales experience was great (Steve O.), and honestly the ser going to them for service since 2020, when I purchased my Pilot there in April. Original sales experience was great (Steve O.), and honestly the services have been great in the past......until i got outside the 3 year warranty window and the extended "platinum warranty" i bought from them kicked in. Here's the issue: 1) It's not a Honda warranty (they lead you to believe it is at time of sale). They can't stand far enough away from it - using words like "they won't pay for that" even though it's not excluded in the agreement. 2) Fuel purge valve went. Told me "they" won't pay for labor. To their credit, they did do it but it was a comedy of errors. (First said "will do so now", then said "can't do it today, but will give me loaner, then said "can't do it, no loaner, and all mechanics have gone home". As I am ringing out, my service guy takes a call from a mechanic still there and tells him "no send the mechanic home, it's not fair he stays for this, he'll come back". I live 60 miles away and only when I objected did they stay and do the very short repair.) 3) My visor won't fold up - person next to me has same issue - I'm told by service adviser it's common but "they" won't pay for it. I showed him in contract that visor frame is explicitly called out as covered and he just stared and didn't do anything. 4) I took their request to call them instead of bombing them on the Honda survey I haven't answered yet - and he says he'll call me back about the visor. Two weeks later - no call back. I'm honestly not sure if I'll go back again - I really want to keep my records all in one place. They're far for me - I pass Freehold, Old Bridge, Bridgewater, etc. all because I in the past enjoyed them. If this is what they become after the Honda warranty is done and the infamous garbage third party platinum warranty kicks in, I'll get a print of all my service records and take my chances with someone closer to home. Buying experience was OK, but don't buy the extended warranty. I bought the platinum 10yr/125,000 mile warranty when I purchased the vehicle new in 2020. As soon as we were out of factory warranty, no warranty. I bought the platinum 10yr/125,000 mile warranty when I purchased the vehicle new in 2020. As soon as we were out of factory warranty, nothing was covered - always a reason. Purge valve goes at 48,000 miles - warranty service company (which is NOT Honda but some 3rd party, they didn't tell me that) says 'no'. Visor won't close (which is extremely common per service team - and person next to me had same problem) not covered although it's not excluded in the agreement. Service department refers to warranty company as "they" vs "us" and won't stand behind you or fight for it. So buy the car if you like - but pass on the warranty. It's not Honda, so they don’t seem to care and you’re just stuck with a nameless faceless 3rd party that the dealership doesn't particularly care to manage well. They got their cut, I suppose. More

Troy has been extremely helpful the last few times I have been to Honda. He was kind enough to wait after hours so that I was able to pick up my car after work, after having new tires put on. This time I sto been to Honda. He was kind enough to wait after hours so that I was able to pick up my car after work, after having new tires put on. This time I stopped in for service and he was very helpful explaining to me what I needed to get done and why, which was actually less work than what I had thought coming in. I really appreciated his honesty and kindness, and making the experience as smooth and quick as possible. More
