Service writer did not advise me of the cost of the oil change for my car and she complained about the dealership not making any money from a key replacement warranty that I got from another Toyota dealers change for my car and she complained about the dealership not making any money from a key replacement warranty that I got from another Toyota dealership when I purchased my car. My appt was at 8:15am and I was told it would take an hour and a half. I got a call at 9:40 and they hadn't even looked at it yet. I told her I needed the car to be done by noon because that was when I h hour and a half. I got a call at 9:40 and they hadn't even looked at it yet. I told her I needed the car to be done by noon because that was when I had a ride to pick up the car. She also questioned why it was in because the mileage target hadn't been met yet. I explained I had been contacted multiple times to make the appt and when I asked about the mileage, they said it was mileage or 5 months, whichever came first and I should make the appt. She relayed very little confidence in that on the phone and I left the call feeling like they were doing it just to do it but it wasn't needed. At 1pm I called back and the car was not ready and I explained I no longer had a ride and I needed them to drop off the car to me (thankfully I live close by). In addition, when making this appt I was asked again about trading my car in early. This was also addressed several times prior. I had gone into the dealership in October to discuss this matter and as much as an early trade in deal was advertised, there really was no deal that was worth pursuing. I am still getting emails as about this as early as this morning. Overall the internal communication was and is messy. I can't remember the woman's name that was interacting with, I can't be sure it was who I selected. My appt was Fri, Nov 18th. More
