This dealer apparently gets a lot of the lower trim level models compared to other dealers, and does business a little differently in order to be able to sell them. Like in my case I was told only about a Ki models compared to other dealers, and does business a little differently in order to be able to sell them. Like in my case I was told only about a Kia Rio LX trim (the salesman said "oh they're all the same" when I asked if there were any other Rios) when I find out later there is an S trim that starts out only a few hundred dollars more and isn't nearly as stripped down. When I look at the dealer websites, this particular dealer has a lot of the LX vehicles and one S, compared to other local dealers who all have a bunch of the S vehicles and only 1-2 of the LX (at least when I researched this recently after the purchase). I feel they are deliberately not informative in order to sell the vehicles they have, and was misled by them. So buyer beware if you go here. Also, the "settlement" for this experience was them asking me to pay for a third party to come and install keyless entry to at least give the car a few basic features (yes you heard that correctly, a car that was $21,000 out the door in 2021 did not come with a basic key fob standard, among other things.) Then after the work is done they get back to me about my question whether trunk opening is on this fob, which it isn't, and entails another charge. I don't feel I can even trust them with the car to even do the 2 free oil changes that came with the purchase, after all this, so will not be.going back there at all. More
