Service for power steering pump I was qouted $550 to replace the power steering pump (after market) on my Acura TSX ($400 parts and $150 labor). Jackson was getting the part from Na I was qouted $550 to replace the power steering pump (after market) on my Acura TSX ($400 parts and $150 labor). Jackson was getting the part from Napa that only charges $159 for the part plus you get $60 back when you return the core to them. I understand that the dealership usually has an upcharge, but this excessive. They allowed me to buy the part, but then I was told it didn't work when they put it on and they wanted me to pay for the labor a second time. My advisor did her best to explain and eventually I was able to get the car repaired. This is by far still my favorite Acura Dealership and I will continue to do business with them. I do suggest that as a consumer do your homework if you are dealing with the service department because they dont seem to be as forthcoming as they used to be. More
