I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others deserve to know about our experience. My husband leased a brand-new 2026 Ram truck, and within the first week it began experiencing electrical issues. The dealership was set to come and pick it up and bring him a loaner truck. After discovering a few loose fuses, he pushed them in and the problem temporarily went away. We cancelled the vehicle pick up because all seemed fine. The electrical issues emerged again, and we contacted the dealership to arrange another vehicle pick up. Jeff Belzer New Prague Dodge, where he leased the truck, is over an hour from our home. Because of his work schedule, he asked if they could pick up the vehicle, but was told it would be nearly two weeks before they could do so. Fortunately, his schedule unexpectedly opened up, so he drove the truck to the dealership himself. We got a loaner truck and was told not to tow anything with it. This was especially concerning because our daughter’s destination wedding was only two weeks away, and we planned to tow our camper for the trip. He left the truck with the expectation that it would be diagnosed and repaired in time. Instead, communication became the biggest issue. He was told someone would call him with updates, but days—and sometimes an entire week—would go by without hearing anything. He repeatedly called for status updates and left messages requesting return calls. More often than not, those calls were never returned. He asked several times to speak with the General Manager, Zach. It often took multiple days to receive any response, and on several occasions he was promised a call that never came. As a customer who had just leased a brand-new vehicle, we felt completely ignored and unimportant. To his credit, Service Manager Nick was outstanding. Once he became involved, he communicated with me daily, was honest about what they knew, and genuinely seemed to care about helping. He is the reason this review isn’t even more negative. Unfortunately, the truck’s problems became so complex that Ram engineers had to get involved because the dealership could not determine the cause. By that point, the truck had been in their possession for weeks, and he had already made my first lease payment on a vehicle we had only driven for about a week and a half. At that point, we no longer had confidence in the truck and wanted to discuss replacing it. Once again, he left multiple messages for the General Manager over the course of a week, asking to discuss my options. Once again, those calls largely went unanswered. Mechanical problems can happen with any vehicle. We understand that. What is much harder to accept is feeling ignored after making a significant financial commitment. A brand-new vehicle should come with dependable customer service, timely communication, and leadership that follows through on its promises. We appreciate the efforts of Nick in the service department, but the lack of communication and follow-through from dealership management overshadowed my entire experience. We expected far better from a dealership that came highly recommended by family. We were hoping for that small town dealership to be able to handle all of our future car purchases through. This was not the case with Jeff Belzer. Unfortunately, once the purchase/lease was made, they quickly showed how unimportant we were to them. They still have our truck. We have called 5 straight days asking for the GM to call us back. I hope this review encourages the dealership and GM to improve its communication and customer care. No customer should feel like they have to repeatedly chase down answers after purchasing a brand-new vehicle. More

The worst experience purchasing a vehicle I've ever had. From the start it was a terrible experience. If this wasn't the exact car that I wanted I would have walked out within the first 10 minutes. From the From the start it was a terrible experience. If this wasn't the exact car that I wanted I would have walked out within the first 10 minutes. From the salesman to the delivery of the vehicle, I felt like I was just a sale not a person. Not one person thanked me or congratulated me on my purchase. It's like it's nothing that I bought a large purchase from them. Guess they do not think it's a big deal for people to spend their hard earned money at their dealership. Not to mention that their mistake of misplacing the checks I brought to purchase the vehicle became an issue. They handed them back to me in my sales paperwork unbeknownst to me. Once they were located, arrangements were made for them to pick them up from my house (since its an hour round trip), no one showed up for 11 days after I purchased the vehicle. Only after I called again to let them know that no one had been by to get them did it become an urgent issue on their part and they wanted the checks ASAP. They wanted to come pick them that same day at 8:30pm, I told them tomorrow would work better, AND once I said that they threatened me with "theft".... it was your finance departments mistake, I helped to get the situation rectified and suddenly I'm the one that gets threatened. Horrible customer service. I will never buy from a Jeff Belzer's dealership again. Lesson learned. Buyer beware! More

I do not recommend this dealership at all. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a vehicle purchase. I ordered my new super duty in October of 2022 with a $1,000 "refundable" dow One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a vehicle purchase. I ordered my new super duty in October of 2022 with a $1,000 "refundable" down payment. The truck took almost 2 years to get, arriving in August of 2024. I was offered about the lowest possible value for my current super duty truck on trade and the new truck was discounted much less than others the dealer had in inventory. I was told the trucks got discounted based on time on lot and what they were. I was told my truck would sell in the next week at msrp or barely under. Every attempt was made to make me feel like I better take the deal and take it now. So many lies and guilt persuasion. The entire experience felt like they did not care this was the truck that I had ordered and had been waiting to get for 2 years. They presented a take it or leave it offer almost to make sure I did not purchase the truck so they could list it on their lot. The salesman Joe Kennedy took me down a customer guilt trip conversation discussing how they don't make money on new trucks, blaming the manufacturer for pricing, and how much money they would have to put into my trade and it wouldn't make them money either. He claimed my truck had rust on it and then was totally surprised when I informed him that its an aluminum body. This showed the lack of knowledge about super duty trucks. Such an unprofessional approach to try and make a customer agree to a deal. Every attempt should have been made to make sure that the customer that ordered a truck and waited almost 2 years, would receive that truck and left with a smile on their face. To prove my point the next day after I said I was not going to do such a poor deal, THEY LISTED MY TRUCK ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR OVER $3,000 LESS THEN WHAT THEY OFFERED ME! Complete scam! I have yet to hear about getting my $1,000 down payment back. I was told he is waiting to hear. They had time to post my truck on their website immediately but no time to refund my down payment. Please stay away from this dealership and save yourself from a horrible experience. More
