Fritz and crew went out of their way to make us happy, comfortable and get what we wanted. We wanted a particular CX-5 and Fritz found it, got it to dealer and then found that it had a scratch on it that they would fix obviously. Instead of making us take it they worked with us for a solution to get the car we wanted and keep the same great deal they had offered. We got a better, newer CX for about the same as the old model. No pressure to make it happen either. They knew we could leave to another dealer but wanted to try everything they could to make it happen. Great job to Fritz and the rest of the crew for making us a happy, loyal Mazda owners in Elk Grove.

My car was acting funny over the weekend. When I called Mazda they gave me good, accurate information about when I could bring the car in for service. Fredy was freindly and gave me clear information about what services my car needed. He communicated easily about prices and emailed the service estimate to me at my request.
It took a few days for the work to be completed, but my husband says that Nissan had his truck for over a week and that kind of thing is normal with he dealerships. In the past I have gone to a small family owned mechanic in Lake Forest. Since I was towing the car from San Clemente, I thought I'd try Capo Mazda. When the car was ready to be picked up, it was freshly washed and vacuumed.
Now my car is back to normal ready for many more miles. I'll be back to Capo Mazda in the future.

This was my third time leasing a Subaru from Maita (started with an Impreza, then Outback and now another Outback). Since the first time, this dealership has been more like a friend than a car dealership. They treated me so well with my first car, not to mention I got a lease deal on my car that I couldn't refuse. The people were always warm and helpful, and not-pushy ever. Now, with my latest car, I don't even live in the area anymore, in fact I'm 3 hours drive away, and I made the excuse to see a friend nearby and drive back to Maita to get my new car rather than going to my local dealership. Even though there are a lot of new faces there since my fist time, they still just seem to operate with such a warmth and helpfulness, and this time I even settled everything over the phone so I could just come and finish the deal and pick up the car. It was seemless and the salesman working with me made me feel like I made a friend (which has been the case with previous salespeople I've worked with there, I even stay in touch with one of them years later). Not to mention, he managed to get me a newer car for a smaller monthly lease payment than I had before. Go figure. Just great experiences overall; worth traveling back for to show my customer loyalty.

Anyway, we took our Hyundai Sonata to Romero Hyundai Mazda for the 15,000 mile service back in January of this year. Spencer Gilliland helped us by recommending what needed to be done on the car. He told us the amount of time it would take to finish the service, and called us when the car was ready to be picked up. He saved us money when he found and applied a coupon for part of the service. We were very pleased with his help. We highly recommend Spencer for his genuine care.

First time car buyer. Spent close to 3 weeks researching for a CX-3 Grand Touring in AWD, this was the only dealership with a color I liked. I requested a price quote online that morning, received a response from Hussein within the hour. It was relatively quick process, I arrived that 4 in the afternoon and left there with a brand new car at 7.
When I arrived Hussein greeted me and handed me off to Ed for a test drive. Ed was a great guy. I went in with a certain expectation and Ed definitely defied my expectations. He was very straight forward and he even knew a few things about the car that I did not, and I had spent a lot of time researching this car. He just presented the car and showed me what it can do. No fluff, no magic hand waving that this car could fly like a unicorn, just the facts. There was a small hiccup during the financing portion, financing tried to play a few games with the extended warranty coverage and it took a little while to work that out but that was a small blip during an otherwise great experience..... 10/10 would buy again.

My Mazda RX8 (2005 64K miles) was having typical problems for a rotary engine and would probably need a replacement engine..
Several dealers and mechanic's said they had too much work to be interested! or they felt they could not do the job justice.
A rotary specialist (Beckstram Engineering, San Rafael) advised me to contact Putnam based on their reputation and as a dealer they would be able sort out any warrant issues.
I'm glad I took his advice. I had the RX8 towed to Putnam where the performed a thorough diagnostic and sadly advised me that it did indeed need a new engine. Putnam told me the visible, invisible, and advisable work needed at this cars age. They promised to work with Mazda with regard to warranty issues. I told them to proceed but to let me know of unseen issues as they appeared.
We worked together to set a timeline and Putnam was very accommodating.
A week later the Service Advisor Mark D. (excellent follow-up and communication) called me to say the parts had arrived and the engine was out of the car. Mark advised me of what needed replacing and that as the engine was out it would be much less expensive to do them now as a single job than to do them individually.
Meanwhile Michael A. the Service Manager was working as a customer advocate with Mazda who due to Michael's efforts were very accommodating.
The RX8 was ready as promised, washed, new dent free, and looking great.
On the drive to the North Bay, the RX8 felt like a new car, rattle free, no warning lights, and practically silent engine noise, After a careful 1,000 miles of gentle running in I'll see how it performs (Vroom, Vroom).
As no review is perfect. The only problem I have is the headlining on the drivers side got a bit oily presumably with the mechanic starting stopping and revving the engine. Considering the size of the job this is understandable.
So, Thanks very much Putnam Mazda, your work was Professional, Customer Centric, Mechanically Focused, and Reasonably Priced.
I will definitely return for service and maintenance.

I have to say that this was one of the best car experiences I've had. I went to the dealership looking at the VW SUVs and with the help of James Jamous, I am ready to roll. Was generally a good experience.
Recently called the dealership about some recall I heard about, in the news.
I had some problem with the person answering the phone.
I was a little miffed. Registered a complaint with the manager.
They called me back next day. Apparently, they reviewed the tape also.
They went the extra distance to take care of the issue AND bent over backwards to accommodate my servicing needs.
That surprised me because I expected the dealer to shrug their shoulders and say "things happen".
But these guys surprised me very pleasantly.
Got to say, my faith is restored - there are good people and decent dealers!

Walked onto the lot, found the Truck I wanted, Offered Sticker Price.... and was turned down. I didn't even attempt to force the guys to haggle after the Test drive, was thoroughly impressed, and Genuinely wanted the Truck. The reason I'm not giving this dealership a Single star is because of the Salesmen, they truly know how to make you feel welcome and at ease, they deserve 5 stars. The reason for there being no closing of a deal at sticker price: The management. Do yourself a favor and request that the boss come out of his hole of an office to show you around the lot First, that way you don't waste time building unnecessary and Inaccurate rapport with the wrong "Person" selling to you, and also that way you're talking directly to someone that can give you a straightforward and honest answer without having to ask someone else about the plain-as-day sticker asking price.
