My car of 15 years finally gave out on me and I was dreading the process of buying a new one. Mainly because I was nervous about making a good decision considering I tend to hold on to my cars for awhile (as you can see ; ) I was thinking about Honda and Toyota originally but several friends and relatives had suggested I also try Mazda. I read some good reviews online about Tustin Mazda and in particular, Larry Henderson, one of the salesmen there. I walked in very late one night to the dealership and was greeted by Larry, himself, so that was a good sign : ) I can tell you that my experience working with Larry was night and day different from the other experiences I had had at the Honda and Toyota dealerships! I was so relieved! You would never know it was the end of the day because Larry was extremely patient with me with all my questions and took me on a test drive with a few cars even though it was late. I was prepared to be rushed through the process (since I had had that experience at Honda and Toyota) and I was prepared to feel bad about asking a lot of questions. I was also prepared to be pushed to make a decision in one hour (which I never like to do) and I was prepared to get barraged by phone calls starting the next day asking me "what it will take to get me to buy the car today." (I swear every other salesperson had used that exact line with me; ) To my surprise and delight, none of that happened with Larry! Instead I felt like:
1. He actually cared about guiding me to get a car I really liked and that met my needs, no matter which one it was.
2. He totally knew his stuff and patiently took his time explaining the different engines and options I had questions about,
3. I never felt like he was just "trying to reach his numbers" (again another sales tactic I had heard at other dealerships) and that it was my job to get him there!
4. I felt relaxed with him and you could tell he is a really nice, honest guy.
After I left, Larry informed me about an upcoming sale where I could save $1,000 on my purchase. He also made sure to stay in contact with me by text to let me know when he would be available in case I wanted to come back in. Just straightforward, helpful, nice and informative without being pushy! Wow - what a breath of fresh air!
By the way, I ended up with a car I absolutely love!! I have a feeling this will be my favorite car so far! Funny that I started with wanting a midsize and the Mazda 6's were great too, but when I got in the Mazda 3 GT I loved it! So much fun to drive -- and comfortable! It looks great too! Super sporty, yet still a 4 door -- and I love my leather seats and my Bose stereo! I can't wait to get in my car and drive every day and I've never felt that way before. I also know that if I have questions, Larry will be there for me to answer them and Tustin Mazda even has Taco Tuesdays for explaining any tech questions you have with your car.
Bottom line - if you want to actually enjoy the process of buying a car AND end up with a car you love - I would highly suggest going to see Larry Henderson at Tustin Mazda! I'm sure he'll do his best for you too : )

My wife's mazda had a dead headlight that I was worried was an electrical issue. Luckily I ran into Fredy Campos. When Tony Stark needs help with his mazda, Fredy is the guy he goes to. He knew what the problem was before he even looked at the car just from my description, and had it fixed in less than 5 mins. I didn't even have time to sign in or get my key off the ring! Typically purchasing a car is a hassle. I can honestly say working with Samir and his team at Team SuperStore, it was relatively PAINLESS! We had already done our homework, we knew which car we wanted and approximately how much we expected to pay, so we were really hoping it wouldn't be an all-day experience. The dealership worked a deal that was fair to buyer and seller. No complaints there. Heather, the salesperson, gave me what I wanted for my 2013 Corolla and some rebate money to offset the sticker price on the new Mazda 3. The M3 accelerates much more smoothly than the 2013 Toyota Corolla that I traded in and is far more comfortable.
As for style, the Mazda 3 is on a different planet, especially since there are so many Toyotas on the road. Some would see that as a positive for Toyota; I like having a car that is comfortable and reliable, but which also gives me some individuality.
It was a difficult choice because 3 of the 4 cars in my family are Toyotas (one is 1998 Ford Ranger that we still own). Toyotas are great cars, but the Mazda line of cars are stylish, easy to operate, and very comfortable.

Used Galpin Lincoln this time; other Galpin divisions in the past. Sale reps always very knowledgeable and friendly without pressure. Service when needed is very responsive. Showrooms spacious and clean with Starbucks or other snack service. The Lincoln MKZ 400 hp AWD Black Label is best car I've ever driven, with every advanced feature and incredible power. Will never even consider BMW or Mercedes again. Highly recommend Steve Rodgers as sales rep.

I had a '90 Honda Accord that was having endless problems and it was time for a new vehicle! I was very interested in the Mazda 3 isport sedan so I went online to receive a quote. I received one from Michael Yums at Putnam Mazda Burlingame that got me to walk into the dealership. He was very kind and pleasant that first day and showed me the Mazda 3 sedan. I never felt any pressure from Michael during my visit, he was friendly, informative, helpful and cheerful. I'm so happy that after a week and a half of my deciding what to do, can I afford this, that with my offered down payment, Michael showed me a monthly payment I could afford and agreed to for the Mazda 3! The one I wanted per the Deep Crystal Blue color was still there! I had a Mazda b3000 truck for a while years ago that I loved, and was hoping to be able to own a Mazda vehicle once again! I've had the car for 3 days now and I love and adore it! I'm so glad I had a very pleasant experience with Mazda Putnam from beginning to end when I rolled off the lot in my new ride :)

I have to say that this was one of the best car experiences I've had. I went to the dealership looking at the VW SUVs and with the help of James Jamous, I am ready to roll. Walked onto the lot, found the Truck I wanted, Offered Sticker Price.... and was turned down. I didn't even attempt to force the guys to haggle after the Test drive, was thoroughly impressed, and Genuinely wanted the Truck. The reason I'm not giving this dealership a Single star is because of the Salesmen, they truly know how to make you feel welcome and at ease, they deserve 5 stars. The reason for there being no closing of a deal at sticker price: The management. Do yourself a favor and request that the boss come out of his hole of an office to show you around the lot First, that way you don't waste time building unnecessary and Inaccurate rapport with the wrong "Person" selling to you, and also that way you're talking directly to someone that can give you a straightforward and honest answer without having to ask someone else about the plain-as-day sticker asking price.

Recently called the dealership about some recall I heard about, in the news.
I had some problem with the person answering the phone.
I was a little miffed. Registered a complaint with the manager.
They called me back next day. Apparently, they reviewed the tape also.
They went the extra distance to take care of the issue AND bent over backwards to accommodate my servicing needs.
That surprised me because I expected the dealer to shrug their shoulders and say "things happen".
But these guys surprised me very pleasantly.
Got to say, my faith is restored - there are good people and decent dealers!

This dealer installs LoJack on every vehicle and will not honor a TrueCar price and force you to buy the useless LoJack. This is false advertising and deceptive. LoJack is 1980's technology and only used to increase the dealers profit.
