After a local test drive and one more day on the LA city bus, I texted Ryan asking to get me into a car ASAP. He passed me off to Austin, who helped me find a vehicle within my budget at a fair interest rate. He handled most of the sale, via text/calls as I live in Burbank, CA. It was raining like crazy so Marco sent an Uber to bring me to the dealership. Austin and Marco were funny, kind, and helpful. Austin took the time to show me how all the safety features on my Impreza worked. Marco helped me select the best care plan for me within my budget. He was patient with my credit union's sales limit. It was first time I felt trusted while buying a car.
Overall, dealership was clean, respectful, and the hot cocoa machine was a nice touch on a rainy night. Before I left, Austin made sure I took a dog toy for my neighbor's dogs, who coincidentally are also looking for a new car. The dog toy is their current favorite. The rainy drive home was a perfect road test for the car. I felt 200% safer in the rain than I did in my Honda fit. I have/will recommend Sutherlin Subaru in Huntington Beach to anyone looking for a car and will likely go back when I am looking to upgrade my car. 10/10 experience.
