I really enjoyed the fact that I could work with a salesperson with whom I went to school with, grew up with, and, ultimately, trust to provide me the information I needed. Josie was both professional and personal in her conversations with me, as I would expect. We talked "shop" and also reminisced about the 'good old days' while waiting on paperwork to be completed. Josie answered all my questions, helped me understand the "new tech" in the vehicle. She also cared that I was happy with the choice, even having other options available similar to my first choice truck. She provided her cell # for any questions that may come up after the sale. Further, she helped me set up my GMC app on my phone, something with which I certainly needed assistance. I really can't say enough great things about Josie and her sales approach from initial email inquiry to final "selfie" together with the final sale. She's great, and I hope she sticks around; she knows the town, the people, and she's trustworthy - and that means A LOT.

They responded to all of our questions while also giving us additional information about the truck along with sending additional pictures to help in the description. I had a very frustrating experience with McGrath Buick - blarps2001

I had a very frustrating experience with McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac in Cedar Rapids, IA. I found a Nissan 350Z listed at their Cedar Rapids location and placed an online hold that was advertised as being good for 24 hours. I live about an hour and a half away, so I went to the McGrath dealership in Davenport instead. A salesman there told me he would handle everything and have the car brought down to Davenport for me. After that, I received a call from Russ Beltz at the Cedar Rapids location. I informed him that a Davenport salesman was already assisting me with the purchase. At this point, two salespeople and one manager were aware that I fully intended to buy this vehicle. I was told the car could be brought to Davenport the same day, which never happened. Later, I received a message from Russ Beltz stating that the vehicle had been sold — despite knowing I was actively trying to purchase it and had been told it was being transferred for me. The lack of communication and follow-through was extremely disappointing, and it felt very unprofessional given the assurances I was given. Overall, this experience wasted my time and left me with no trust in their sales process. I would not recommend this dealership if you expect honesty, coordination between locations, or respect as a serious buyer.

I just traded my 8 year old pick-up for a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali. This was my 21st new car purchase I've made in my life. My experience at Richardson Motors made this experience the best I've ever had. I stumbled on to this dealership looking for a specifically optioned truck and one very similar to what I was looking for came up in my search. I learned the dealership was in Dubuque, IA and I have a neighbor that is from there. I reached out to him and he put me in touch with a personal connection he has at the dealership. The truck I was looking at was on the website, but already spoken for, as I found out when I contacted my neighbor's connection. However, I was asked if I would give them the opportunity to source one for me and, if so, were there any changes I would want from the truck I was looking at. I said there were 3 small changes I'd like if I could order one exactly as I wanted. Long story short, they located the EXACT truck I wanted with those changes, made it very easy to agree on a purchase price and the value of my trade, had the truck shipped into their dealership in a day's time and the team took excellent care of my wife and I in all aspects of the transaction when we made the 3 hour drive down to Dubuque. When the time comes to make my 22nd new car purchase, you can be sure that Richardson Motors will be my first choice in securing that next ride.

I stopped in to Stephen Motors in Monticello,Iowa because my check engine light came on. My 2010 Impala was bought used and not at this dealership. I was very impressed with the prompt and courteous service. Much to my surprise my service was covered under warranty.I will definitely consider them for my future service and auto needs. It was a pleasure to deal with Stephen Motors.

The dealership is great, however the service manager is a jerk. I took my car in that I bought from them with extended warranty. The check engine light was on had the manager read the code, it was a fuel tripturbine, and I asked if it was covered he said he didn't know. I asked how would this get fixed he seemed annoyed and said it's just a code and the service tech would let me know how it's fixed and if it's covered. He couldn't tell me how long it would be to be fixed or if I could get a loaner car. He was cold and rude and seemed annoyed by my questions and couldn't even get me in until the following week for a simple diagnostic. I called another Buick dealership and they were 3 times more helpful than this xxxxx.
