Purchase via internet - fast and easy - Cheesehead
First time purchase using internet search engines (cargurus.com) to locate and identify the specific model of minivan we were looking for. Having identified the van we wanted to purchase, I then had to deal with the nearly three hour drive to get it. I was extremely hesitant about driving this far for such a large purchase. Think about every horror story regarding car sales you can think of: "It was sold right before you got here", "It was sold, but we have this slightly higher cost model available", "Sorry the price we quoted wasn't accurate", "Sorry, but your credit application wasn't processed", etc. Everything that would have made the nearly six hour round trip a disaster. BUT, that was NOT my experience. I arrived, was shown my new van, had some nice conversations while we waited for the paperwork to be finished (10 minutes maybe), looked at a few fancy cars way outside of my means, and then we got down to business. I worked with Zach Anderson from sales (Lakeville, he drove down to make sure everything went right. Thanks Zach), Brian in purchasing, and Creed from aftermarket accessories. They all did their job, including trying to up sell a bit, but that's cool, that's how they make a living. I believe when all was said and done, I was in and out in 40 minutes. Absolutely no issues. Pricing was very fair, they communicated everything clearly to me so I could make a sound purchasing decision, and then they followed through. That is precisely why I will give them the first opportunity to sell me my next vehicle. They earned it..

If car shopping is stressful for you I recommend you see Art Ingersoll at Apple Autos in Northfield. He is knowledgeable about his dealership and so patient with all my questions. When Northfield did not have what I wanted he went to a sister Apple Auto store and found what I wanted and quickly. He is a steady no pressure guy. He treated me as if I were buying a new 40 K Camero when I was buying used.
I will be back to find Art when my next car is needed!

Usual 6,000 Mile Check-up - Cheryl2013
Brought 2010 Impala for usual 6,000 mile check up. There were 3 additional things Jeff called be back about, 2 of which were each over $1,000 to repair. We went over each of the problems and decided on 2 of them. Jeff made me comfortable with the discussion that the 3rd could wait. It was near the end of the day and I called and asked for the driver at Merit to pick me up. With all the construction on the highways going on which results in back-up, I called Jeff as well and left a message that I would be waiting outside. Jeff leaves at 5PM and the driver hadn't returned yet so he took it upon himself to jump in a loaner car and come pick me up himself ... now that's service ... and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. Also want to mention to other people at Merit ... Joe, the person who drives people from Merit to their workplace, etc. in the AM and Greg. When I dropped my car off at Merit, my son was waiting for me to take me to work. Joe was going to leave and came to check with me first to see if I needed a ride. Greg always calls me by name, even if just to say hi. I can ask him things about vehicles too ... which is appreciated.

They made us, (my wife and me), feel like long time friends. Their Service Department staff were great when we brought in our old vehicle for repairs, getting us in on the 4th of July weekend. We were in need of a "new to us" vehicle, and we wanted Rick Schwab to show us what he had available on the lot. We test drove both used and new vehicles, and when we started crunching numbers, we realized purchasing a new car was the right choice for us at the time. Rick was wonderful to deal with - very knowledgeable and respectful, and his overall wish was for us to be happy with our purchase. We are happy, and thankful that Rick took the time to find out what our needs were and to match a vehicle to those needs. We definitely would buy another car here again!

Purchased our vehicle here and have used the shop for all major repairs (anything but oil changes). Dealership is 50 miles from home. Was in Two Harbors and the vehicle died. Called shop for assistance and they REFUSED to help. Would not look at car, provide a loaner car, would not offer a tow even! Service manager made it very clear that he was not going to help. Will never do any business with this establisment again. They do not give a xxxx about customer loyalty or your business.

Recent purchases a silvardo from this dealership and worked into the deal was a paint touch up. When I went to get the touch up I left a clear note to where the touch up was needed. When I came to pick up my truck I noticed they missed a lot of the spots on my truck. I went to find the dealer who sold to me to find out he was fired. Then I went to talk to jerry the manger and he was nice and said he would take care of it next Tuesday. Little did I know by writing a review on their poor first attempt jerry went back on his word even when I have proof of him texting me stating
"The collision center can do the touch up on Tuesday - I told them to touch up behind the mud flap and hit a few rock chips -let me know if that will work
