DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. - Trey
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. UNETHICAL!!
2nd UPDATE: Jeff Robinson (Part Owner and General Manager) retaliated by leaving a 1 star review for MY EMPLOYER. My company has nothing to do with my purchase of a vehicle. How unethical and unprofessional and a stalker he is. (see picture below)
UPDATE:
I received a call from Jeff Robinson who was very defensive about the situation because I left this review. He stated” I have the invoice showing that we paid TST, so it was applied. He accused me of trying to “paint a picture” of it not being applied. He completely disregarded all that happened to make me think it had not been applied. He never once apologized for the experience of receiving someone else’s information or the sales rep not responding to me. He also did not offer to assist in getting me the correct information. He did address the call I had with TST and said in a voicemail “if Dino THOUGHT he didn’t apply it and he said he would be willing to apply it then this is something he is willing to do”. When I mentioned the that to Jeff, he said I didn’t say the word “thought”. I told him he all I want is proof it was applied or a refund. He said, my position is that we paid for it regardless of the application and you agreed to the price and a refund isn’t going to happen. He said he is part owner so go ahead and reach out to Marianne Ballas.
Original Review:
I purchased Yukon Denali from Suburban GMC in Michigan. After I noticed I didn't like the ride of the vehicle, I did some research and discovered that there was a higher trim that offered a smoother ride. I located a Yukon Denali Ultimate in Toledo at Ballas Buick GMC. I called and explained that I only had the vehicle for a day and would like to trade it. I was told to come down and they would appraise it because it is now considered a used car.
I drove immediately to the dealership and spoke with Dana. Dana helped me through the process. The dealership:
- Valued this brand new vehicle with less than 300 miles on it $11,435.00 less than what I paid for it the day before.
- Called Suburban GMC in Michigan without telling me or getting my permission to communicate my personal business. Their justification was that they felt the request was suspicious. (The vehicle had a registered plate, registered to OnStar, and I had all the original paperwork), still, they felt the need to call them behind my back. I’m sure there was another reason as to why that call was made, but not solely because of the sale.
- They alleged that they marked the price of the new vehicle up $5,000.00 because of protection that was applied to it.
I received the documentation from the alleged protection company with someones else's information on it. I emailed my sales rep and she told me she would have it corrected. I subsequently emailed her asking when was the application done on 7/11 at 4:31 PM, again on 7/18 at 10:49 pm, and again on 7/25 at 6:10 pm. She has not responded to me either time. I spoke with the owner of TST and he asked me to bring the vehicle to him for a day because it doesn't seem that it was applied. He stated that he is short staffed and it more than likely was missed. He explained that the dealership drops these cars off before they hit the lot and that there have been quite a few missed.
- My sales rep told me to not fill out this survey if I have any problems, but to talk to the dealership directly because if I express any dissatisfaction in the survey, it will cause a huge issue for people.
Overall this dealership violated my privacy, charged me 5K for something that I did not get, and now will not answer me. They are so concerned about me allegedly having stolen a vehicle that I paid 86K for and then wired them 127K for a vehicle on their lot, that they were willing to violate my privacy.
