Great Customer Experience - BirdBrain
I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is working with Joe D. And Jason H there. I have purchased a vehicle in the past from Joe and he always gives you great service (and prices) right through the car buying experience. Jason made things easy to complete the financing options and take delivery of our new Jetta. Thanks as always for a courteous, efficient experience!
My new Subaru - Tom2222
This was my first Subaru. Tony took the time to show me all the options.Tony was also in no hurry to just sell me one. I must have changed my mind on different options many times to get what I wanted with the price I could deal with.
Exceptional Service ! - Zuzu 7
My experience at Day Apollo Subaru was exceptional. I visited the dealership to get a quote for a part for my Forester, but instead I left the dealership with a new 2016 Subaru Impreza. Matt Tate did an excellent job at making the process of leasing a car easy and with out any stress. Several days after I purchased my car, Matt did a follow up to see if I had any questions, and I did. Matt answered my questions promptly. I highly recommend Day Apollo Subaru for any car purchase. I love my new Subaru!
Very accommodating - Mr. Smooth
Our sales rep Seth Alrutz was very accommodating. He listened well to what we wanted, and provided us with a vehicle with close to all the features and options we wanted.
The finance period with Ryan Sicchitano was also very professional and well organized.
Hopefully, after the sale, the service end will also be a good overall experience.
An amazing new car buying experience with a rising star Juan - Smurf
I had an amazing experience purchasing my first new car at the age of 31. As a female I was dreading buying a new car, as I'm sure many of you women out there do, I brought along my male partner to be my body guard against bullies. I could have left him at home ;). Everyone at Colonial Subaru was wonderful, they all addressed me directly, they didn't try to talk to my male partner instead, they did not pressure me, answered all of my questions, and if they didn't know the answer they found out.
I walked into Colonial on a busy Saturday, everyone was helping another customer so the owner Eric grabbed a fresh first day employee Juan Ramirez to assist him and me with test drives and sales. Juan rose to the occasion beautifully!!! I'm sure we can all remember what its like to have a first day at a new job. I watched Eric treat his brand new salesman with respect and kindness, showing such patience on a busy day, teaching him the ropes. It is the mark of a great team when the leader teaches and treats his employees with kindness and respect. Juan did a wonderful job answering my questions, joking with us, and overall making me feel very comfortable. When he didn't know the answer to a question he found out. He even recruited their tech specialist Michael Britland to answer my silly detailed questions.
Michael is a wealth of knowledge! I loved his excitement about Subaru's and their features. He truly loves his job and is excited to teach and help customers understand the intricacies of new car technology. After a couple days of contemplation I was ready to buy my first car! Juan was wonderful, and showed up bright eyed and excited to sell his first car!! I think he was as excited as I was!! His coworkers helped him through the whole process in such a kind way and he seemed very well supported through his experience.
As if the process couldn't get any smoother Erica Kopp was a rockstar and helped ease all of my financial anxieties. She explained every form I signed in detail, showed me all the numbers for different year loans, how everything would add up depending on which features I went with, explained all the add-ons, didn't try to push anything at all. She gave me and my partner all the time we needed to talk out each option and decide what was right for us. When I was still nervous about the price she found some extra coupons online to get me to a less stressful final number. Through all of my hyperventilating and freak outs she kept a smile on her face and a laugh in her voice. She was such a joy to work with!!!
As a final cherry on top of a wonderful day Juan's coworkers gathered around and cheered for him while I helped honor the tradition of cutting his tie for his first car sales. I couldn't have asked for a better salesman to work with and I was honored to be is first sale! I purchased a hitch for my new Subaru Crosstrek smurfmobile, and they said the car would need to come back in when they got the part. I was dreading bringing the car back in and waiting in the office after working all night at the hospital, I had nothing to dread. Juan came to my house after I got home from work, dropped off a loaner car for me to use and took my car to the shop for the installation!! He brought my new baby back to me the next day with absolutely no hassle to me! I obviously can't rave enough about everyone I interacted with at Colonial! Thank you all for making my first new car purchase a smooooth ride. Totally in love with my smurf-mobile!!!!
Very satisfied - railman
Reading VW is very clean, professional and polite. Very easy to deal with and have a very well stocked choices to choose from. I felt better there than at any other dealership.
Audi A4 great experience - Yesuconn
I went in to buy a new Audi. Everyone was super helpful and made the experience a great one. They went above and beyond to help. I would recommend the dealership to anyone. Thanks again.
We love Wynn - JudyA
After we purchased 5 cars from Wynn, this time I went with a lease (couldn't resist the fantastic deal!) The experience has always been wonderful. Simo Chaoui takes great care of us. He is a pleasure to work with. The service department is also fantastic. Their express service made it official but even before that, they helped me out several times when I showed up first thing in the morning without an appointment. Wynn is a dealership you can trust.
Great Buying Experience - Oliver13
I had done some research on various SUV's, before going to Fiore's. We went to the dealership to look and left with a new Toyota RAV4. I was very pleased with the salesman's knowledge of the vehicle and his detailed explanation of the features. The buying experience was hassle free and our salesman was easy to work with and moved us through the purchase process quickly. Thankfully we skipped through the usual back and forth with the purchase price that I have experienced in the past and got straight to the bottom line. I would definitely recommend the dealership and Mike to family and friends.
Lease - Polo84
Offered best price, customer service and friendly environment of any dealership i have been to. Would definatelly go back and recommend to people to work with these guys.
try them you'll like them - happy buyer
After buying 11 cars from them I guess it's time to spread the word. I bought my first VW from them in 2000 and just purchased a Teguan 7/1/16. I have had a few different salesmen over the years they seem to get better as time rolls along. They were always well versed in what they were selling and very personable right down to the owner who will take the time to chat and say hi. The latest salesman Tim Smith is great to work with and is very helpful in steering you toward what works and is right for you. So if your interested in a new car do yourself a favor stop in and talk to them. And I can't neglect the service department I always felt the repairs and recommendations were done well and the advice sound.
Great experience - fast, fair and friendly! - First Jetta
They had by far the best pricing in the area. And the experience of test driving and then purchasing was quick, friendly and without pressure. Highly recommend Cochran Volkswagen!
SID IS THE MAN! - NATAY WILLIAMS
MET MY FIANCEE FOR HIS SERVICE CHANGE AND ENDED UP DRIVING OUT WITH A NEW 2016 FORD MUSTANG. VERY PROFESSIONAL YET MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE IN MY NEW PURCHASE.
Awesome experience - Ridge161
Great experience! I had researched the Eos before I came in and just planned to test drive but experience was too good to refuse! Mike was so helpful but never made me feel pressured. Offer was fair and everyone I dealt with was super professional. Mike gave me a lot of time and space to make my decision!
Look no further!!! - Moonsliver
I've always thought that car shopping should be a joy, but it never has been...until NOW!!!
I recently found myself in the most unexpected position of having to purchase a new vehicle. Needless to say, I dreaded the experience.
After contacting another dealer and getting absolutely nowhere, I reached out to Hillcrest VW (previously unknown to me), and within minutes, I was contacted by Broderick Alley. What a gift!!!
From beginning to end, Broderick was professional, conscientious, diligent, and attentive...not to mention just a whole lot of fun. Yes, you read that right...I actually had FUN purchasing my vehicle.
Broderick and Hillcrest were able to deliver to me a quality vehicle at a reasonable price in a timely fashion, and with just about the best customer service that I've experienced in ages.
Thank you, Broderick and Hillcrest, from a VERY satisfied customer!!!
Excellent - Beth71
Excellent experience start to finish. Devan got me the car I wanted at the payment I requested. Made purchasing my VW Jetta hassle free! Thank you!
Always great service. - Harjoe2000
Frank Indelicate has been helping me with my Volkswagen Jetta/Passat service needs for many years and I can't say enough good things about him.
Excellent Car Buyng Experience - Debra
After many years of dreaming about owning a VW Beetle I set out on the search for my dream car. Much research, time, and many dealership visits went by and I was becoming very frustrated. It seemed that no dealer could put me in a Beetle for what I perceived was a good price. Then, after yet another internet search, I was contacted by Drew Simonovich from Young VW. I told him what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend and he assured me that it was completely do-able and within reason. That same weekend, we visited the dealership and just as promised, Drew got me into the car of my dreams. Not only was Drew extremely helpful and knowledgeable, John from the finance department was equally as helpful, explaining every detail of our purchase agreement in terms that were clear to understand.
I am so pleased and thankful for the exceptional service given to us throughout the buying process. I would strongly recommend Young VW to anyone considering a Volkswagen and hope to be a return customer!
Thank you Drew and John!
Great, no hassles - Cinromy
My daughter purchased a used Subaru Forester on May 13, 2016. She and my husband worked with Jim Struble. He worked with them to get the payments to where she needed them, actually lower by a few $. He did everything he could to accommodate them. Gave them a totally good deal on her trade in.
I liked her car so much my husband and I went back less than a week later, saw Jim and purchased a 2016 forester. Again good trade in for my vehicle. There were no hassles, told them what we wanted to pay...pretty effortless. Jim did everything he could to make our experience a pleasant one. Great guy.
My daughter had a glitche with her gps. He and the dealership again accommodated in replacing it.
Went back and jay reeducate do me on the specifics of the vehicle, he was fun personable and a great educator, thanks jay stulbarg!
Thoughtless service - Scott Blackburn
Needed to have my Jetta AC looked at, running warm. I stopped in on 6/23 and the ever so unhelpful service tech said no one can look at my car until 7/5. I said "you must be kidding". He simply stated "hard to believe isn't it". I am very easy going, but it was obvious no one cared. Two other managers were standing close by and no one responded. ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER! I have a very successful sales career for 30 years, because I always take care of the customer. Not my experience here!!!
Pleasant and easy - ccarter00
While this is a few months late, I wanted to be sure to give a review on my experience with Piazza and with Mike Robinson (sales) and John Zecchino (finance). I would never have driven out to Ardmore if it wasn't for Autotrader.com. I was starting to have issues with my second Jetta and needed to find a solid yet affordable replacement, and I found a beautiful used CC at a deal on the site that led me to the guys at Piazza. Mike was extremely helpful (even without an appointment) and took me on a nice long test drive, on which he didn't appear to fear for his life as tested the car on the twisty turning road! I was not "wowed" by the drive in the CC, so Mike urged me to test drive the 2014 Jetta GLI on the lot (only 10k miles) and I loved it!! His no pressure style was very welcome and from there the paperwork went very smoothly. I love the car and the deal! The whole experience was easy, fairly quick (as far as car buying experiences go) and really enjoyable. I would recommend them for your next car buying experience - and of course, I'll always recommend a VW!
No excuses - Come to Faulkner VW FIRST! - Rubie T
I recently purchased my 2008 Passat Lux after my 2002 VW Passat was totaled. It was a tough experience as the latter was my first car, and it was going to be hard to top it. It took 2 months to find a newer car, and Jodie Payne made that happen. I felt as if the entire sales department had my back, honestly. Whenever a potential car was traded in, I was notified and came in for a test drive. Eventually, the 2008 Passat won my heart, with the help of Jodie and the service Department, managed by Jeff W. Furthermore, both Brian Price (GM) and Brian (service) spoke with me personally about the vehicle, the servicing it needed, and what they could do to further accommodate me. The entire experience was smooth and not what I expected from purchasing a car from a dealership - my first car purchase was from a private seller, so this was a new experience for me altogether. As a 20 year old college student, I can say that I was treated with 100% honesty and fairness. There were no scams or gimmicks, no shadiness, and moreover, I got the perfect car out of it. Kudos to all at Faulkner VW! Highly recommend. I encourage anybody to check out their inventory, stop in for a test drive, or get their car serviced here FIRST!
Fantastic Dealership - todd92
Easy going, honest, straight shooters. Exactly the kind of car dealer that deserves your business. The entire team was a pleasure to deal with on the 2016 Golf R I just purchased. 1st place I'll look if I'm in the market for another VW.
STAY AWAY!!! - Jeremy S
I bought a Ford F-150 from gilboy and was very unhappy with the experience at the dealership. They are Completely unprofessional and unorganized.I highly recommend you buy somewhere else!
Poor service, worse customer service - Crystal Smulley
I bought a 2009 jetta for my daughter on 6/22/16. By 6/25/16 the car was broken down, needing to be towed because it was out of oil! This car was NOT sold "as is". It was never even looked at prior to her driving it off their lot. Jack Jr. acted like a child when I demanded he buy back the vehicle as it had metal shavings all down the dipstick indicating engine damage. He claimed the would fix the problem and provide a warranty, then their incompetent service department writes up a falsified service record saying more repairs were identidied but I refused them. This is totally fraudulent and they do this to void your "warranty".
Most straightforward sales team out there. - JJW
I bought a 2016 GTI from YBH, and recently helped a friend get her new 2016 Jetta there. These were the two simplest, most honest transactions I have ever been a part of in 25 years of car shopping. The YBH sales team understands people today don't want to old song and dance. They want information and an informed, straightforward sales experience. In both cases, the deals were essentially done over email, and amazingly they did not change one penny when we showed up. I have had the frustration elsewhere of having dealers say "that is the deal" in email, then try to back out of it in the showroom.
Simply put, if a VW is a car you'd consider, I'd strongly recommend YBH.
Super Lemon! - disappointedgal
Super Lemon! If you make a moderate to low income, Do not buy a used car from these folks! You'll spend thousands of dollars to fix it. I didn't do my research and bought a Passat 2006. Lots of problems Had it for 3 years. Engine light keep coming on. They fixed it. Cost Me $2000.00 Engine light still came on. $500.00 for brake work. Exhaust pipe broke at catalytic converter. They wanted $1300.00. It smelled like dirt. I am thinking it was in a flood somewhere. They had Dryer sheets under my seats to mask the smell when i bought it. I didn't know till later. Shady! Oh and lets not forget they said I had slivers of metal in my oil pan. and said it would cost me a pretty penny like $2500.00 to take it a part and fix what ever they were talking about. But it might just be the engine. So it might cost more. I traded that car in and bought something else somewhere else. Never again Volkswagon. Smile in your face and rob you blind! But they did offer me to come in for a complimentary car wash.
Service Nightmares - kevinandtrish
I have had four cars serviced between myself and my wife. Fred Beans' shop is near the Paoli local train, so it is a convenient drop off. However, we are through. Here is a brief list of annoying service incidents:
1) Passat: Fuel tank recall, car was returned leaking gasoline.
2) Jetta Sportwagen TDI: air filter intake tube not connected after service (fixed it myself. )
3) Jetta TDI Sportwagen: air filter never changed after 50 K miles ( free service = no service, IMHO) changed itmyself
4) Golf TDI: dropped car for A/C service. First time the problem was not diagnosed; the car was obviously not test driven. Second time: I was charged 350.00 for "troubleshooting". The replacement part was about 50.00. Rude Service guy, failed to call and tell us the car wasn't ready before pickup. The svc dept failed to honor my request to give me the replaced part, so....
5) GTI: Two trips for service of AC under warrantee. (They eventually sent it to Mike Piazza in Ardmore)
That's enough. I will never spend another nickel there. Ever.
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP - abc123xyz890
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
I contacted this dealership's Internet Sales team to inquire about pricing for a Black 2015 VW GTI Autobahn. I expressed my interest to purchase the vehicle if the price was right and also inquired about military discounts available, financing rates through VW to compare against my credit union, and the process to purchase/register the vehicle from PA to MD where I live.
I was transferred to a regular sales guy who said I could get the car, with a military discount for about $900 under MSRP. TrueCar estimate for my area was about $1800 under MSRP. It wasn't a spectacular deal, but it was the only package/color car I could find within 75 miles.
When I inquired about the process to purchase the car in PA and have it registered in MD (to include paying taxes, tags, etc), they said they had the capability to do it.
When I inquired about financing rates through VW, I was told 0.9% for 5 years. I requested clarification on whether that was for 2014 model years or if it included 2015 model years as well. I was told it was for all VWs. I also emphasized the reason for asking was I could get a 1.9% from my credit union and have all paperwork ready before venturing to the dealership.
Satisfied with the quotes in pricing, financing and explanation of how the car would be registered, I scheduled an appointment for Saturday, July 19, 2014 to purchase the vehicle.
When I arrived, I went on a test drive with the sales person. He demonstrated the amazing handling of the car before handing the keys over to me to complete my own test drive. Satisfied with the performance of the vehicle, we proceeded back to the dealer to draw up the paperwork.
I was told that I wouldn't be able to drive home with MD tags on the vehicle because their normal person that issued tags didn't work on Saturdays, so I would have to drive the car to a title/tag place to obtain transfer tags. I was also informed the paperwork obtained from the tag/title place would be all I needed to obtain registration in MD.
The loan paperwork was drawn up and when presented, it had incorrect MD state tax amounts and the financing amount was 2.4% instead of 0.9%. They fixed the tax amount and said the 0.9% was only for 2014 vehicles, contradicting their previous answer, leaving me with either the choice to take the higher rate or delay the purchase of the vehicle. Since the dealership was an hour away, I opted to deal with the higher interest rate and consider refinancing later.
I next confirmed my insurance with the dealer to take ownership of the car. This process took a little longer, as the information had to be related to the sales person several times.
Next, I drove the car to the tag/title place with the sales person in tow. On the way, he activated the VW CareNet service, but before I was fully complete, he hung up because the tag/title place was closing in 5 minutes. When inside, I found out the cost of these transfer tags were above and beyond the sale of the car. Not a huge deal, but this was the first time I had a separate out of pocket expense to get a vehicle on the road. As we wrapped up, I asked if everything I had was all I needed to go to the MD MVA to get MD tags. I was told yes.
Satisfied with the answer and convinced the dealer was an expert in areas necessary to get a vehicle on the road for its customers, I then took the sales person back to the dealership. He asked if I could hang out for a second to make sure he didn't have anything else for me. After sitting in the car for about 5 minutes, he asked me to come in and SIGN THE LOAN APPLICATION! Yes, they almost sent me on my way without signing the loan application. I signed the loan application and went on my way. Total time at the dealership was about 2.5-3 hours.
After a few days, I started to complete the paperwork required to register the vehicle in MD. I filled out everything I needed except for the loan information required for the title. I had to wait until I received that information before I could venture to the MD MVA. I finally received the information and proceed to the MD MVA on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. 17 days after purchasing the vehicle and 17 days into the 30-day transfer tag life span. When I arrived at the MD MVA, they told me I need the title to register the vehicle. After I explained the course of events and the guidance provided by the dealership and the tag/title place, the MD MVA stated there was nothing in their system and that without the title, they couldn't help me. They also said if I paid the taxes, Autohaus must complete the registration or provide a refund of the taxes paid so I could pay MD.
I immediately called the tag/title place and they researched my issue. The sales person, called me back and said the tags will be sent to me via FedEx and I should have them in the next day or two. I went out of town from August 7th - August 16th, expecting the tags would be at my house when I returned. Much to my surprise, they were not. I called the dealership and the sales person and left a message explaining I needed the tags delivered before Monday morning so I could get to work. Saturday night, I received a text message response from the sales person telling me to call a Registration person Monday morning because that is the person who processed my paperwork. This obviously didn't help me get to work on Monday.
My 30 day transfer tags expired the next day, so I was unable to drive the vehicle until I could get a valid registration in MD.
On Monday, August 18, 2014, I called the dealership and asked for the Registration person by name. I was told no person by that name worked there. After explaining my situation, I was directed to the correct person. She took my information and said she would call me back. I never received a call back from her, but I received a call back from the sales person. He stated that the issue is out of their hands and in the hands of the tag/title place. He said it will be a few days until I get my tags. I asked which title service Autohaus used and was told Beacon National Auto Tag and Title. When I expressed my frustration about the inconvenience of me having to track this down and having no way of getting to work until I got the tags, all I got in response was, “I understand your frustration, but there's nothing I can do”. I asked when my application for registration was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and his response was, "that happens up in the office and that's like a whole nother world." Convinced talking to this sales person was not going to yield any results in resolving my issue, I ended the call.
I decided to call the Autohaus VM Sales Manager, to elevate my issue. After explaining the history to him, I told him I either needed tags that day or they could come pick up the car and refund my money. He stated the refund wasn't an option, so he'd try to help me out, but since it was so late in the day, he doubted anything would be resolved that day. I expressed my frustration that it wasn't my fault it was so late in the day OR that the tags expired. He asked if he could call me back by 5:15pm so he could track down the status of my registration and asked if he didn't hear from me by then to call him back. I accepted and hung up.
The Autohaus VM Sales Manager called me back at 5:19pm and stated he tracked down the issue. He said there was an issue with Beacon National Auto Tag and Title not being able to read my license number from the photocopy of my license and that they resolved the issue. He said he was going to email me a FedEx tracking number for my tags with an estimated delivery date of August 20th or August 21st. I asked him how I was supposed to get to work between now (Monday, August 18th) and when I got the tags. His response was to drive the vehicle anyway because it should be in the system. I told him I doubt the MD State Police would see that as an acceptable reason for not having a valid registration. He said it wasn't a big deal. I then asked him when the packet was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and he said he didn't ask that, he only asked about when I would get it. He didn't offer to find out.
I waited 20 minutes after I hung up with him, and still didn't receive the FedEx tracking number. I sent him an email to ensure he had my correct email address. He responded with the tracking number. The next morning I checked the tracking number and it didn't exist. I sent him an email asking to confirm if the tracking number was correct and he said he would check.
Unsatisfied with the service and answers I've received from this dealership on any topic thus far, I decided to call Beacon National Auto Tag and Title myself to get their version. Here is what I was told.
Beacon received the request from Autohaus on July 30, 2014 (12 days after I purchased the vehicle).
Beacon responded to Autohaus on July 30, 2014 requesting clarification on my license number (6 days before I initially called requesting the status of my registration).
Beacon didn't receive a response from Autohaus until August 18, 2014, 18 days after Beacon requested clarification, 1 day after my tag expired, and coincidentally on the same day I called the dealership again.
Beacon also stated Autohaus was scheduled to receive the tags on August 19, 2014 from Beacon and that I was scheduled to receive them from Autohaus via FedEx tomorrow. This explained why the number the Autohaus VM Sales Manager provided was not found.
Since I hadn't received any response from the Autohaus VM Sales Manager on the invalid FedEx tracking number, I responded to him with the information I received from Beacon. I also told them I trusted they would place high priority on ensuring these tags made it to me by the scheduled delivery date of tomorrow.
I also reiterated that I had a brand new car sitting in my garage that I couldn't drive yet and that I was greatly inconvenienced in my ability to get to work for 3 days. I expressed my thought that this was all due to the negligence of Autohaus and the issue was exacerbated by Autohaus's attempt to cover up their negligence. I also relayed my concern that since I called on 5AUG to inquire on the status, this could have all been resolved prior to the expiration of my transfer tags.
I expressed my regret in using Autohaus, but was hopeful they could rectify the situation and provide some sort of compensation commensurate to the level of inconvenience and lost time/wages caused by this chain of events.
As of September 5th, I have yet to receive any response, acknowledgement or apology from Autohaus, the VW General Sales Manager or the Sale person for the horrible service. Steer clear of this dealership. No part of the experience was good. Pricing, financing, service, knowledge, accountability, expertise... ALL SUBSTANDARD.
Very trustworthy service department. They will make sure... - nas179
Very trustworthy service department. They will make sure things are done right at any cost. Josh and Randy stayed over an hour late to make sure I was able to get home with my car. They have always been honest and open with me, and make the hour drive for a simple oil change worthwhile for me. I would recommend the service any day over any other dealer I have been to. Trustworthy service is hard to find anymore, these guys will make it worth your time! Thanks guys!
