Amazing customer service and friendly people!!! - Colleen Russell
I bought my Jetta about a month ago. My boyfriend and I drove 2 hours from NY to go see the car because the deal was that good! We showed up at 5 PM on a Saturday (right when the dealership closes...bad timing!) and Tim Notarianni helped us for 2 hours! I never once felt pressured to buy the car, or that us coming so late was an issue for Tim. He took his time to help me feel comfortable with my purchase and really did an outstanding job of answering any questions I had. He was personable, kind and really made me feel so comfortable. I love my new car!!
Jason Hartman helped me with my finances and he also did a great job answering any questions I had. He also didn't make me feel rushed, even though I was buying the car almost 2 hours after the dealership had closed. He took the time to read through all my paperwork with me and really helped me with figuring out all of the NYS DMV questions I had.
All in all, my visit was the best car buying experience I've ever had!
2nd BMW from New Motors - Welcome12
This was my second BMW from New Motors. They were able to help me get in to a new lease two months early. They even helped me with some of the expenses at the end of lease. Steve and the staff there will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied. I love BMW, and they provide an atmosphere that is laid back and straight forward to make purchasing your BMW as exhilarating and smooth as it should be! I will be back!
Car buying at it's best.... - Linda Klinger
If you are going to buy or lease a car go to Day Apollo Subaru and ask for Eric Saloom. The dealership and salesman were wonderful. I love my new Crosstrek...
Buying A Bug - Stephenjaye
Could not have been more pleased with my buying experience. Vince went the extra mile (literally) to locate the model I wanted, and finance guru Ryan fully explained every aspect of my purchase. Finally, hats off to a dog-friendly dealership, I won't have to leave my best bud behind.
Fair pricing - Richard Shaeffer
I brought our Touareg in for 40K service and inspection. We needed tires. Although there was no current special on the tires we required, Jason provided a 10% discount.
I had a great experience at this dealership. - Summer14
When I got to the dealership I was approached by a man named Ted. He was very friendly and he helped answer all my questions.
Excellent All Around - Kpd1966
I got my third car from Wynn VW and it was a pleasure....as usual. Simo is the best! Friendly and knowledgable. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
100% the best decision for me and YOU. - MNK
They have the stock and variety of a large dealership with the personal touch and comfort of a small shop - I would recommend Jeff D'Ambrosio to friends, family, and strangers because I know there isn't anyone better. I had a poor experience with another VW dealer and the moment I walked into Jeff D'Ambrosio, their general manager came over and personally apologized and said that they were in the business of making customers happy and were going to work hard to earn my trust and my business. I worked with Jake Jewell, John Duffey and Tyler Jackson and I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure. They answered all of my questions with patience and expertise, walked me through the differences between the cars I was interested in and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. This dealership is 30 minutes out of the way for me but it was work that 30 minute drive to walk out with peace of mind, an AMAZING price, excellent customer service and the keys to the car of my dreams.
Great experience! - Trish
I haven't purchased a car in 10 years and was fearing the process. I dealt with Mike Rosen and he helped me feel comfortable with such a huge decision. I ended up leasing and I'm in a 2016 RAV 4 with a payment I am comfortable with. Mike was great, the guy who wrote up our paperwork was great, and I don't want to forget about mentioning the team that took the car inside and prepared it and made it look fantastic to drive away in. Call Mike. He is a great guy to work with!
First new car buying process was a breeze! - Mike Kaplan
Looked at a few cars online, and chose Day due to their selection and prices. Took a beautiful 2016 S3 for a drive with Steve, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. After the test drive, the negotiation process was rather quick. I felt as though I got a great deal on both the new car and my trade-in. Steve and Brad made the entire process easy and a pleasure, and his continued support in the weeks since ensures I will be a repeat customer in the future, and I'm sure to recommend paying him and Day a visit to friends and family.
Great experience - fast, fair and friendly! - First Jetta
They had by far the best pricing in the area. And the experience of test driving and then purchasing was quick, friendly and without pressure. Highly recommend Cochran Volkswagen!
Many thanks to the team at York VW - Archer305
Had a great experience at York VW this weekend. I had mentioned in a previous visit that I was possibly interested in a Golf R and even a few months later, Tim had remembered our conversation and gave a friendly call that if I still wanted one, that there was one coming in soon--not pushing for a sale, just a casual call.
When I came in to the dealership everyone was accommodating and were friendly and patient with me and with my 2 year old son who was rather wound up. You can tell that the people at York VW are real people with families and that they really do care!
I was considering 2 vehicles; one on the lot and another that was over 6 hours away. I was assured that whichever I chose, Mike and Bryan were happy to do the legwork to make it happen while still giving me a great deal.
Thanks also to Jon Steffy who worked hard for 2 days to get me top dollar for my trade in which sealed the deal.
Great people and a great dealership; I couldn't have asked for better service. This is what every dealership should strive to imitate. I look forward to seeing everyone again for my next vehicle!
SID IS THE MAN! - NATAY WILLIAMS
MET MY FIANCEE FOR HIS SERVICE CHANGE AND ENDED UP DRIVING OUT WITH A NEW 2016 FORD MUSTANG. VERY PROFESSIONAL YET MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE IN MY NEW PURCHASE.
Awesome experience - Ridge161
Great experience! I had researched the Eos before I came in and just planned to test drive but experience was too good to refuse! Mike was so helpful but never made me feel pressured. Offer was fair and everyone I dealt with was super professional. Mike gave me a lot of time and space to make my decision!
Great place for car buying - mikelikevw
This is a great small that really wants to take care of people. I know that when I was looking for a new car I did not know this store was around. I am glad that I found them. They treated me like a real person and not just another deal. There are many big dealers out there, but very few will treat you like family. If you want to feel like you bought a car from family you need to go to this store.
Excellent - Beth71
Excellent experience start to finish. Devan got me the car I wanted at the payment I requested. Made purchasing my VW Jetta hassle free! Thank you!
Very pleased VW owner - MyGTI2016

Wonderful Expeirence - Gamergrl09
I went to Garnet VW looking to trade in my GTI for a golf 4 door due to just having a baby 5 months ago and needing a 4 door. They were beyond friendly! They made my family and I feel so welcomed! I wouldn't go anywheres else. I highly recommend Garnet VW ! Fran & Margot went above and beyond. Thank you for making my experience wonderful! I couldn't be happier with my trade in/purchase.

Just wanted to send a note of thanks to Bertolet!
I was in today for a 20,000 mile check up on my Tiguan (a last minute appointment that was accommodated easily by Chris in Service).
You guys never disappoint! AND I was so impressed to get a video from the tech working on my car! Your dad even offered me a quiet space to work while I was there - which was great!
My car was done in a small amount of time, the service techs checked in, provided status, and gave me info to make my service decisions easy.
Thank you very much for being consistently customer focused, pleasant to do business with, and inspiring trust and confidence in doing business with Bertolet.
Pleasant and easy - ccarter00
While this is a few months late, I wanted to be sure to give a review on my experience with Piazza and with Mike Robinson (sales) and John Zecchino (finance). I would never have driven out to Ardmore if it wasn't for Autotrader.com. I was starting to have issues with my second Jetta and needed to find a solid yet affordable replacement, and I found a beautiful used CC at a deal on the site that led me to the guys at Piazza. Mike was extremely helpful (even without an appointment) and took me on a nice long test drive, on which he didn't appear to fear for his life as tested the car on the twisty turning road! I was not "wowed" by the drive in the CC, so Mike urged me to test drive the 2014 Jetta GLI on the lot (only 10k miles) and I loved it!! His no pressure style was very welcome and from there the paperwork went very smoothly. I love the car and the deal! The whole experience was easy, fairly quick (as far as car buying experiences go) and really enjoyable. I would recommend them for your next car buying experience - and of course, I'll always recommend a VW!
No excuses - Come to Faulkner VW FIRST! - Rubie T
I recently purchased my 2008 Passat Lux after my 2002 VW Passat was totaled. It was a tough experience as the latter was my first car, and it was going to be hard to top it. It took 2 months to find a newer car, and Jodie Payne made that happen. I felt as if the entire sales department had my back, honestly. Whenever a potential car was traded in, I was notified and came in for a test drive. Eventually, the 2008 Passat won my heart, with the help of Jodie and the service Department, managed by Jeff W. Furthermore, both Brian Price (GM) and Brian (service) spoke with me personally about the vehicle, the servicing it needed, and what they could do to further accommodate me. The entire experience was smooth and not what I expected from purchasing a car from a dealership - my first car purchase was from a private seller, so this was a new experience for me altogether. As a 20 year old college student, I can say that I was treated with 100% honesty and fairness. There were no scams or gimmicks, no shadiness, and moreover, I got the perfect car out of it. Kudos to all at Faulkner VW! Highly recommend. I encourage anybody to check out their inventory, stop in for a test drive, or get their car serviced here FIRST!
STAY AWAY!!! - Jeremy S
I bought a Ford F-150 from gilboy and was very unhappy with the experience at the dealership. They are Completely unprofessional and unorganized.I highly recommend you buy somewhere else!
Easy and honest - Dave S
My sales rep was Derek, at the Audi dealership in Allentown. Derek was very easy to deal with and was consultative and informative about the BMW that I bought even though the dealership does not sell new BMWs. I would recommend the Audi dealership Allentown and Derek as a Non-pressure oriented sales rep who wants you to make the right decision for you at a fair price with good service
We would recommend elsewhere - PJ
We leased a vehicle through Thompson Volkswagen and about halfway through our lease, decided to purchase the vehicle. My wife and I went into the dealership (Twice over the course of a week) and attempted to speak to someone in finance. We were told they were busy so we left our contact information. After not receiving a phone call back, I decided to contact them via telephone. Again, finance was busy so I was placed into a voice message system and a message was left to contact us. We contacted them twice. These incidents were over the course of a few weeks. We ended up talking to another dealership and after getting pricing, decided to hold off. Fast forward two months, we decided to go forth and purchase. I again contact Thompson VW and left a voice message. I also contacted North Penn VW. North Penn contacted me back quickly and within a week, we purchased the vehicle. Still not receiving a phone call back, I decided to email the dealership and express my frustrations in being ignored. Within a few hours, I received follow up emails and a phone call. At this point, the manager apologized for the issue and attempted to resolve the situation. The manager was nice/professional and expressed concerns however the damage was already done. I'm not sure what the issue was but given our experience, we will never buy from Thompson. I would also caution anyone that uses there repair services as well.
Bought a lemon here - EyeSlayer
Bought a brand new 2015 GTI back in June at this dealership. The price was good (now I know why) and the process was smooth the sales people were nice life was good. I took it for a test drive before buying the car all seemed well but when I arrived home in NY everything would change.
First the digital compass failed and was stuck in a constant north heading this happened about 2 months after buying the car. Next the CarNet failed about a month after the compass failed. The green light turned off and the entire system died none of the buttons worked. I quickly got in touch with a representative from CarNet who I was in contact with for a month or two then another rep after the first rep changed jobs. I went to my local VW dealership where they ran a diagnostic and found a certain part wasn't communicating with everything and found that to be the problem but they didn't have the part. Getting the part had to be approved by Volkswagen because it's a very expensive part and wasn't to be replaced until all else failed. After I got the car back everything miraculously worked again the compass the CarNet were operational. Thinking they fixed the problem by rebooting and disconnecting the part I waited. A week later everything was still operational and thinking the problem was fixed I chose to not have the part installed and save everyone time and money. It turned out to be a mistake as once again everything failed a few months later.
I got back in contact with my local dealer to have the part replaced. Inbetween the last time I was there I noticed the passenger side center vent was broken. I nor anyone else did this no one ever even adjusted this vent it was broken from the start at the dealership. Another issue I noticed in between visits was a large cunk of paint missing underneath the car exposing the gas tank possibly? It seems the deeper I dig the more problems I find. Could I have hit something while driving yeah it's possible but if something had struck the car it would have to of been big and would have made a very loud noise considering how big the chip is. I have never driven over anything nor heard anything hit the car so it was highly likely it was like that when I bought the car. My local dealer would not fix the chip because I did not buy the car there and didn't think the warranty covered the damage. They want me to get the damage assessed at a nearby body shop to see how much it will cost to fix can you believe this?
Back to the CarNet/compass issue. They had the car half the day so I had to go home and come back which is a total of 180 hours of driving time I live 45 minutes away. When I talked to the service manager I was blown away by what he told me after asking him some questions. To make a long story short neither the CarNet or the compass were working!!! I would have gone postal but he told me it may take up to 24 hours for everything to start working. Well 24 hours later nothing was working so I called them and gave them a piece of my mind.
So 7 months after buying the car neither is fixed and operational! I'm going to do some research on the lemon law paperwork that came with the car because if this doesn't get fixed soon we're gonna have some serious problems. Keep in mind this is a BRAND NEW car that had 38 miles on it when I bought it this is unacceptable. Not only would I recommend you NOT buy a car at this dealership but that you NOT buy a Volkswagen to begin with. I had a 2010 Mazda 3 that I traded in and I'm sorry I did I never had a single problem with that car. I think most people know about the reliability problems with Volkswagen but I overlooked it and now regret it.
The reason Sutliff is at fault is because they didn't bother checking the car or knew about the issues and sold me the car anyways. If they hooked the car up to their computer to run a diagnostic test they would have known there was a problem so either they didn't or did and didn't fix the problem. I also hate bringing my car to the dealer as many do. This particular car has many areas that are prone to scratching and every time I take the car in I notice another scratch inside the car one being on the LCD screen. This whole thing has been a nightmare and is a failure on Sutliff and Volkswagen in general.
Thanks for listening and I hope this post helps people that are looking into buying a car at this dealership or a Volkswagen in general.
Most straightforward sales team out there. - JJW
I bought a 2016 GTI from YBH, and recently helped a friend get her new 2016 Jetta there. These were the two simplest, most honest transactions I have ever been a part of in 25 years of car shopping. The YBH sales team understands people today don't want to old song and dance. They want information and an informed, straightforward sales experience. In both cases, the deals were essentially done over email, and amazingly they did not change one penny when we showed up. I have had the frustration elsewhere of having dealers say "that is the deal" in email, then try to back out of it in the showroom.
Simply put, if a VW is a car you'd consider, I'd strongly recommend YBH.
Service Nightmares - kevinandtrish
I have had four cars serviced between myself and my wife. Fred Beans' shop is near the Paoli local train, so it is a convenient drop off. However, we are through. Here is a brief list of annoying service incidents:
1) Passat: Fuel tank recall, car was returned leaking gasoline.
2) Jetta Sportwagen TDI: air filter intake tube not connected after service (fixed it myself. )
3) Jetta TDI Sportwagen: air filter never changed after 50 K miles ( free service = no service, IMHO) changed itmyself
4) Golf TDI: dropped car for A/C service. First time the problem was not diagnosed; the car was obviously not test driven. Second time: I was charged 350.00 for "troubleshooting". The replacement part was about 50.00. Rude Service guy, failed to call and tell us the car wasn't ready before pickup. The svc dept failed to honor my request to give me the replaced part, so....
5) GTI: Two trips for service of AC under warrantee. (They eventually sent it to Mike Piazza in Ardmore)
That's enough. I will never spend another nickel there. Ever.
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP - abc123xyz890
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
I contacted this dealership's Internet Sales team to inquire about pricing for a Black 2015 VW GTI Autobahn. I expressed my interest to purchase the vehicle if the price was right and also inquired about military discounts available, financing rates through VW to compare against my credit union, and the process to purchase/register the vehicle from PA to MD where I live.
I was transferred to a regular sales guy who said I could get the car, with a military discount for about $900 under MSRP. TrueCar estimate for my area was about $1800 under MSRP. It wasn't a spectacular deal, but it was the only package/color car I could find within 75 miles.
When I inquired about the process to purchase the car in PA and have it registered in MD (to include paying taxes, tags, etc), they said they had the capability to do it.
When I inquired about financing rates through VW, I was told 0.9% for 5 years. I requested clarification on whether that was for 2014 model years or if it included 2015 model years as well. I was told it was for all VWs. I also emphasized the reason for asking was I could get a 1.9% from my credit union and have all paperwork ready before venturing to the dealership.
Satisfied with the quotes in pricing, financing and explanation of how the car would be registered, I scheduled an appointment for Saturday, July 19, 2014 to purchase the vehicle.
When I arrived, I went on a test drive with the sales person. He demonstrated the amazing handling of the car before handing the keys over to me to complete my own test drive. Satisfied with the performance of the vehicle, we proceeded back to the dealer to draw up the paperwork.
I was told that I wouldn't be able to drive home with MD tags on the vehicle because their normal person that issued tags didn't work on Saturdays, so I would have to drive the car to a title/tag place to obtain transfer tags. I was also informed the paperwork obtained from the tag/title place would be all I needed to obtain registration in MD.
The loan paperwork was drawn up and when presented, it had incorrect MD state tax amounts and the financing amount was 2.4% instead of 0.9%. They fixed the tax amount and said the 0.9% was only for 2014 vehicles, contradicting their previous answer, leaving me with either the choice to take the higher rate or delay the purchase of the vehicle. Since the dealership was an hour away, I opted to deal with the higher interest rate and consider refinancing later.
I next confirmed my insurance with the dealer to take ownership of the car. This process took a little longer, as the information had to be related to the sales person several times.
Next, I drove the car to the tag/title place with the sales person in tow. On the way, he activated the VW CareNet service, but before I was fully complete, he hung up because the tag/title place was closing in 5 minutes. When inside, I found out the cost of these transfer tags were above and beyond the sale of the car. Not a huge deal, but this was the first time I had a separate out of pocket expense to get a vehicle on the road. As we wrapped up, I asked if everything I had was all I needed to go to the MD MVA to get MD tags. I was told yes.
Satisfied with the answer and convinced the dealer was an expert in areas necessary to get a vehicle on the road for its customers, I then took the sales person back to the dealership. He asked if I could hang out for a second to make sure he didn't have anything else for me. After sitting in the car for about 5 minutes, he asked me to come in and SIGN THE LOAN APPLICATION! Yes, they almost sent me on my way without signing the loan application. I signed the loan application and went on my way. Total time at the dealership was about 2.5-3 hours.
After a few days, I started to complete the paperwork required to register the vehicle in MD. I filled out everything I needed except for the loan information required for the title. I had to wait until I received that information before I could venture to the MD MVA. I finally received the information and proceed to the MD MVA on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. 17 days after purchasing the vehicle and 17 days into the 30-day transfer tag life span. When I arrived at the MD MVA, they told me I need the title to register the vehicle. After I explained the course of events and the guidance provided by the dealership and the tag/title place, the MD MVA stated there was nothing in their system and that without the title, they couldn't help me. They also said if I paid the taxes, Autohaus must complete the registration or provide a refund of the taxes paid so I could pay MD.
I immediately called the tag/title place and they researched my issue. The sales person, called me back and said the tags will be sent to me via FedEx and I should have them in the next day or two. I went out of town from August 7th - August 16th, expecting the tags would be at my house when I returned. Much to my surprise, they were not. I called the dealership and the sales person and left a message explaining I needed the tags delivered before Monday morning so I could get to work. Saturday night, I received a text message response from the sales person telling me to call a Registration person Monday morning because that is the person who processed my paperwork. This obviously didn't help me get to work on Monday.
My 30 day transfer tags expired the next day, so I was unable to drive the vehicle until I could get a valid registration in MD.
On Monday, August 18, 2014, I called the dealership and asked for the Registration person by name. I was told no person by that name worked there. After explaining my situation, I was directed to the correct person. She took my information and said she would call me back. I never received a call back from her, but I received a call back from the sales person. He stated that the issue is out of their hands and in the hands of the tag/title place. He said it will be a few days until I get my tags. I asked which title service Autohaus used and was told Beacon National Auto Tag and Title. When I expressed my frustration about the inconvenience of me having to track this down and having no way of getting to work until I got the tags, all I got in response was, “I understand your frustration, but there's nothing I can do”. I asked when my application for registration was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and his response was, "that happens up in the office and that's like a whole nother world." Convinced talking to this sales person was not going to yield any results in resolving my issue, I ended the call.
I decided to call the Autohaus VM Sales Manager, to elevate my issue. After explaining the history to him, I told him I either needed tags that day or they could come pick up the car and refund my money. He stated the refund wasn't an option, so he'd try to help me out, but since it was so late in the day, he doubted anything would be resolved that day. I expressed my frustration that it wasn't my fault it was so late in the day OR that the tags expired. He asked if he could call me back by 5:15pm so he could track down the status of my registration and asked if he didn't hear from me by then to call him back. I accepted and hung up.
The Autohaus VM Sales Manager called me back at 5:19pm and stated he tracked down the issue. He said there was an issue with Beacon National Auto Tag and Title not being able to read my license number from the photocopy of my license and that they resolved the issue. He said he was going to email me a FedEx tracking number for my tags with an estimated delivery date of August 20th or August 21st. I asked him how I was supposed to get to work between now (Monday, August 18th) and when I got the tags. His response was to drive the vehicle anyway because it should be in the system. I told him I doubt the MD State Police would see that as an acceptable reason for not having a valid registration. He said it wasn't a big deal. I then asked him when the packet was sent to Beacon National Auto Tag and Title and he said he didn't ask that, he only asked about when I would get it. He didn't offer to find out.
I waited 20 minutes after I hung up with him, and still didn't receive the FedEx tracking number. I sent him an email to ensure he had my correct email address. He responded with the tracking number. The next morning I checked the tracking number and it didn't exist. I sent him an email asking to confirm if the tracking number was correct and he said he would check.
Unsatisfied with the service and answers I've received from this dealership on any topic thus far, I decided to call Beacon National Auto Tag and Title myself to get their version. Here is what I was told.
Beacon received the request from Autohaus on July 30, 2014 (12 days after I purchased the vehicle).
Beacon responded to Autohaus on July 30, 2014 requesting clarification on my license number (6 days before I initially called requesting the status of my registration).
Beacon didn't receive a response from Autohaus until August 18, 2014, 18 days after Beacon requested clarification, 1 day after my tag expired, and coincidentally on the same day I called the dealership again.
Beacon also stated Autohaus was scheduled to receive the tags on August 19, 2014 from Beacon and that I was scheduled to receive them from Autohaus via FedEx tomorrow. This explained why the number the Autohaus VM Sales Manager provided was not found.
Since I hadn't received any response from the Autohaus VM Sales Manager on the invalid FedEx tracking number, I responded to him with the information I received from Beacon. I also told them I trusted they would place high priority on ensuring these tags made it to me by the scheduled delivery date of tomorrow.
I also reiterated that I had a brand new car sitting in my garage that I couldn't drive yet and that I was greatly inconvenienced in my ability to get to work for 3 days. I expressed my thought that this was all due to the negligence of Autohaus and the issue was exacerbated by Autohaus's attempt to cover up their negligence. I also relayed my concern that since I called on 5AUG to inquire on the status, this could have all been resolved prior to the expiration of my transfer tags.
I expressed my regret in using Autohaus, but was hopeful they could rectify the situation and provide some sort of compensation commensurate to the level of inconvenience and lost time/wages caused by this chain of events.
As of September 5th, I have yet to receive any response, acknowledgement or apology from Autohaus, the VW General Sales Manager or the Sale person for the horrible service. Steer clear of this dealership. No part of the experience was good. Pricing, financing, service, knowledge, accountability, expertise... ALL SUBSTANDARD.
