I was a customer who bought a 2014 Beetle (diesel) and had a lovely experience. The dealership's service dept advocated for me when that Beetle turned out to be a lemon. It was replaced with a 2015 Beetle Diesel and the fraud was announced shortly thereafter. I picked up my new 2017 Beetle from them on Dec. 22 and they were so cooperative with all of the details of the coordination between fraud buyback and getting my new car. It was waiting for me when I returned the Diesel.
Especially notable is their service department. That is the primary reason for getting another Beetle. Their personnel are so friendly and accomodating, I have seen them so much in such a short time with all the stuff since 2014 that I even get a hug from the service manager when I see him--my adopted "son" as I think of him and the rest of the dept.
Really, really, really consider this dealership--even if you have a VW dealership closer by.

My first two purchases were Volkswagen Passat TDIs and I loved them both, but the TDI buyback deal was too good to pass up.
I'm retired. live alone, and put few miles on my vehicles. In addition to the Passat I had a Dogde Ram to tow my boats. Two vehicles, two Insurance payments and very poor mpg on the truck and I was selling my Passat back to VW. So I took the opportunity to replace both vehicles with one, a used Honda Pilot, nearly as appointed as the Passat and powerful enough to tow my boats.
Between the painless negotiation and assistance of Andrew Bargielski, my salesman and professional. personable, and pleasant interaction with Nicole DiTullio with all the paperwork it was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever experienced.
And just so you know I can be a rather grumpy fellow, so a glowing recommendation is something I do not hand out willy nilly. And that's the truth.

Service was fast. They even called me to remind me my inspection was up in two days a would I like them to inspect the care. They gave me a loaner which was great. We live 30 miles away and waiting for the car is not an option. They also cleaned the snow off my car when I picked it up.

I got a great deal on a 2017 Jetta that my local dealers said was impossible. The staff was nice, professional and did not play any of the games that are typical these days. They even went to bat with VW on a problem with my "Loyalty card" from VW.

We had a issue while traveling near the Mechanicsburg area and stopped at this dealership for help! I explained that we lived over four hours away and were afraid that the car would break down on us on our way back. The response of the service writer Shane was to snicker and say " We are booked and it would probably be until tomorrow until we could look at it, I asked him if Sutliff still had a VW dealership and he scowled at me and said yes; another person from the dealership told him that it would probably be two hours till they could check it. We waited and they gave us a loaner, oh: we bought this car from Faulkner preowned in July of 2016. We thought this may be better to trade it in and get a new car, although if things didn't work out we would just continue home. We ended up at Faulkner preowned again, the sales person Cory Wright (less than a friendly person or personable) decided to pull the car out of the service line up and it would have put us back another two hours. Cory stated that the service department at VW didn't tell him not to take it. Our over all experience with Faulkner Dodge, VW was horrible! They have show that what they are all about is the $$$$$$, not about people or even trying to help someone in distress. I have bought four of thirty five vehicles from Faulkner in the past, I won't buy or count on their service departments in the future, they have shown they don't care about people.........

I purchased a 2013 VW Jetta from J. Bertolet and have been thrilled with the service and integrity of everyone at the dealership. I live in the Reading area, and whenever the car needs its mileage service, John arranges a convenient time to pick up my car to take to the dealership and lends me his car for the day. As with all cars, something inevitably will go wrong. You can trust the people at J. Bertolet. The service technician sent me a video of the problem, discussed several options, and I felt confident that the repair would be done in a cost effective and efficient way. He even suggested I call VW headquarters and ask them to reimburse me for the repairs - which they did - a complete reimbursement for parts and labor! I am so happy to do business with people who are not only invested in the product they sell, but more importantly, are invested in the people and community they serve.

Super Lemon! If you make a moderate to low income, Do not buy a used car from these folks! You'll spend thousands of dollars to fix it. I didn't do my research and bought a Passat 2006. Lots of problems Had it for 3 years. Engine light keep coming on. They fixed it. Cost Me $2000.00 Engine light still came on. $500.00 for brake work. Exhaust pipe broke at catalytic converter. They wanted $1300.00. It smelled like dirt. I am thinking it was in a flood somewhere. They had Dryer sheets under my seats to mask the smell when i bought it. I didn't know till later. Shady! Oh and lets not forget they said I had slivers of metal in my oil pan. and said it would cost me a pretty penny like $2500.00 to take it a part and fix what ever they were talking about. But it might just be the engine. So it might cost more. I traded that car in and bought something else somewhere else. Never again Volkswagon. Smile in your face and rob you blind! But they did offer me to come in for a complimentary car wash.

- Once price by email, a higher price when I came in.
- Lowball offer on my trade-in (I got $1,000 more at a different dealership the next day)
- Several rounds of that awful "let me talk to my manager" back and forth.
- Didn't return my key from the trade-in appraisal until I talked to the manager.
They had no response when I said I liked the car, but expressed concern about VW's ethical challenges.
I left this dealership feeling like I needed a long, hot shower.

Very trustworthy service department. They will make sure things are done right at any cost. Josh and Randy stayed over an hour late to make sure I was able to get home with my car. They have always been honest and open with me, and make the hour drive for a simple oil change worthwhile for me. I would recommend the service any day over any other dealer I have been to. Trustworthy service is hard to find anymore, these guys will make it worth your time! Thanks guys!
