From the initial phone call through the end of my appointment, Zachary was professional, informative, and courteous. I had a recall issue that needed attention and also requested an oil change. Everything was handled efficiently—my vehicle’s maintenance was completed, the car was washed, and the tires were topped off—all in less time than I expected. I’ve officially found my Mazda’s new auto shop “home.”

I was somewhat pleased with my car-buying experience. Kevin Hill did a great job—he was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. My issue lies more with the dealership’s sales process than with Kevin personally. I was initially given a negotiated price for the vehicle I selected. However, when I received the paperwork detailing my trade-in and the final pricing, I was surprised to find several dealership add-ons totaling several thousand dollars—charges that had never been discussed with me before. I was told these add-ons were already installed and non-negotiable, leaving me with no real choice but to accept them if I wanted the car. In my opinion, the original price I was quoted should have included these add-ons. I felt misled and disappointed that the full cost wasn’t disclosed upfront. Transparency is key, and I would have appreciated it if the dealership had been honest about the total price from the beginning. That said, I did go through with the purchase and I’m very happy with my car—Mercedes makes an excellent product. But experiences like this can leave loyal customers feeling undervalued. Be upfront and honest. Your vehicles speak for themselves; there’s no need for tactics that erode trust.

5 Stars – A Truly Exceptional Experience. I had been searching across Texas for weeks, looking for a specific Yukon in a certain trim that was clearly in high demand—only ten or so were available statewide. Most dealers I contacted were either marking up the price well over MSRP and/or adding thousands in unnecessary extras. Then I came across the exact model and trim I wanted on GMC’s website, which showed it was in transit to Cavender GMC West. From there, the experience couldn’t have been smoother. I quickly found the vehicle on Cavender’s website and submitted an online price request. I got an instant response—and to my surprise (and Cavender's credit), they were offering the vehicle below MSRP with no dealer add-ons. A few minutes later, I received a call from Brandon Guzman. He confirmed the price without hesitation. No games, no changes—just total transparency. I asked if I could put down a deposit to hold the vehicle, and Brandon made it happen that evening. Over the next ten days, while I waited for it to arrive, Brandon stayed in touch. As soon as it landed, he called to let me know it would be ready the next day. I drove down from Austin to San Antonio, and when I arrived, the vehicle was freshly detailed, fully gassed up, and waiting for me to take it home. The paperwork took less than 40 minutes. No upselling. No pressure. Just a smooth, easy transaction. Brandon took the time to walk me through all the vehicle’s features and answered every question I had. I was back on the road within an hour and twenty minutes. He even texted me the next day just to check in, make sure everything went well on the drive back, and confirm that I had everything set up the way I wanted. I’ve purchased nine vehicles from seven different dealerships in my lifetime—this was easily one of the best buying experiences I’ve had. Brandon Guzman was honest, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. Cavender GMC West runs a professional, customer-focused operation from start to finish. The auto service dept did their work properly, but I suggest maybe next time technicians could check to see if any cleaning is necessary. I took my Chrylser 300 in for a "recall service" on an airbag issue & the ceiling on the roof had to be removed to work on the car. However, I noticed when I got home that there were several dirty spots on the ceiling of the roof. Also, had a problem with the receptionist (Norma). It took several calls & over ltwo hours to get an answer if my car was ready. It was not until I asked to speak to the auto service manager that I was able to get an answer from Armando via a text that my car was ready. I didn't get to pick up my car until 6:05 pm.
