I had wanted a bug most of my life and I am now 62 years old, so it was time. However, my husband and I hate buying a car because of the ridiculousness of the purchasing process. I was extremely pleased with how easy buying My 2017 Beetle
at Street VW. Was. They found the color I wanted and brought it to me from Midland. Everyone was so cooperative, friendly, and helpful . I must say and I have told everyone that this was the easiest BUY I have ever participated in. If I ever buy another car, I will certainly come to Street!!!
My PT Cruiser wouldn't start - DRR
Richard McQuatters is an outstanding asset in the service department. My car wouldn't start to get me to work and my wife called him to ask if the service department could take a look at the car. I'd had the battery tested and it still wouldn't start. Richard said to have the car brought to Hiley and he'd have the techs look at it. Richard called me and let me know the techs did look at it and found a loose battery cable. He'd had the techs fix it and that was it.
My wife and daughter both drive VW cars and trust Richard completely with this dealership performing service on their cars. Richard even called me this morning to follow up that my car is still starting.
This is the best experience I have ever had with service for one of my vehicles. I can't thank Richard enough for his efforts.

He was very informative on the various models and packages available and never badgered us or made us feel pressured (unlike other area dealers). We ended up test driving a number of different models and Jay was timely thereafter in helping us choose which financing plan was going to be a good fit for us. Once we finally decided on a model and package, Larry Chabert was very helpful in taking us through the necessary paperwork and provided a wealth of knowledge

Hooorraaay for the 1st class service from Roy Schaff, Service Advisor and the technician who did the emergency alignment on my wife's car.
She needed the alignment after a near collision with another vehicle in the parking garage her employer. I called Roy and brought the car in same day. Roy explained the options / gave the prices and even a timetable for how long the car would be in service.
He always calls back with any update and the job was done accurately and fast. Very impressive!

I purchased a 2014 BMW 328i from Aldee Marquis at Hendrick VW this past week. It was a very easy purchase, which for me is the highest compliment I can give a car dealership. I normally would rather go to a dentist than deal with car dealerships, but this experience was very pleasant and easy. A major part of this was dealing with Aldee Marquis, the sales consultant who helped me through the whole process. I live in Alabama and flew in to Dallas to pick up my Bimmer. Aldee went above and beyond to pick me up from the airport at 8am and bring me to the dealership. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a car sight unseen, but finding a late model BMW with a 6 speed, moonroof and Sport package in my area is hard to find. Aldee took his time to verify everything was proper with the car and detailed the the sales price to my satisfaction. The car was as described and it was a fun 10 hour drive home! Thanks Aldee!

I was looking for a car after a car accident and not sure which one to pick. The people who work at VW are very knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole process painless and easy. No one was pushy or rude and I am very happy with my purchase. I'd highly recommend it!
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DEALER! - suzanne
Wow-this is WORST car buying experience I've ever had. The dealer represented my car as in great mechanical shape. I was buying my son's first car, and told them I needed a sound car. They said this one was in excellent shape. A couple hundred miles later and it needs thousands of dollars in repairs. And guess what? The DEALER WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE CAR. In fact, the service guy told me "Oh well, you bought a used car." The general manager is claiming that I could have bought a warranty, but at signing I was told the "Lifetime" warranty that comes with the car would even cover the engine. In fact, it doesn't cover anything.
I am appalled at the response of this dealership when I asked them to fix the car. Here is one of the things he said to me in an email:
"The vehicle obviously did not have these problems when you took delivery or you wouldn't have bought it."
Really? I wouldn't have bought it if you'd told me it was a lemon!!!
My advice? RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ONCE THE SALE IS MADE, THEIR SMILES AND NICE ATTITUDE GO AWAY. Just look at some of the other reviews they have. This isn't the first time they've done this.

My wife and I drove cross town to see a GLI Archer had in stock and to see what kind of an offer they could make us for our trade. We were met at the door by Kirk who was very welcoming and extremely patient with us while we had to call our insurance company to have an insurance card faxed in. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and you could tell that their staff was very close knit - just a different vibe entirely.
The very first offer they made us was equal to the best offer we received the day before at another dealer after an hour and a half of haggling.... My wife is extremely conservative and responsible which naturally makes her a tough sale and always inclined to "walk"; but, Patrick was determined to make us an offer that would "knock your socks off" and make your "can't do it yet" into "I can't leave without it" and he did.
Every person we dealt with was extremely courteous, friendly and you could tell enjoy what they do. Jeremy explained that MANY of their staff have worked for Mr. Archer for 10 years or more and it shows. I love buying from a family owned business rather than a huge corporation - that still means something to me.
In my almost 40 years of driving, I've purchased numerous cars; but, yesterday's experience was the easiest, least stressful and most fun auto purchasing experience of my life. I could not possibly recommend a dealership more highly and if you don't give Archer a chance on your next purchase you will be doing yourself a disservice.
C'Mon in and see if you you can out bang me on the gong after you buy...!!! I doubt it. :-)!

Do not buy from these people they will tell you anything to sell you a car.. The car I bought had only 38000 miles I've had it for 3 months and had to take it to get worked on.. The warranty they sold us doesn't cover everything like the man said ..He told us is was bumper to bumper and thats was lie there is also a deductible on the warranty which he did not notify us of that. He said the car was pre owned certified which was a lie.. He told us that they work with BMW of Dallas and that is where they get their mini coopers from which is where I had to take my car to get fixed and I just found out that was a lie too.. It's going to cost over $6000 to get it fixed and the so called warranty will only cover $3000... About the third day after I had the car I called them and told them that the check engine light was on and they said that that's normal Mini Coopers do that sometimes it'll turn on and then it will turn off S since the third day that I got this car I've been having problems with it do not buy anything from these people..Itt will cost you more than you think..

Good buying experience; Bad customer service - LKNguyen
Our buying experience was great. However, dealing with the finance department trying to cancel the maintenance package on my new 2017 Jetta is horrible.
We bought my car on 12/2/2016, got talked into buying the maintenance package by the finance officer while singing paperwork.
We changed our mind on paying for maintenance up front, came back to the dealer the next day 12/3/2016 to fill out the cancellation form (we had 30 days after purchase to cancel this maintenance deal). The finance officer assured us he submitted the form that same day (we have a copy of the dated form).
It has been now more than 3 months and nothing has happened yet. The biggest headache is we cannot get any one from the dealer to call us back on the status of this issue.
Both my husband and I had called numerous times and talked to many different people in the finance department at the dealer asking for an update on the cancellation and refund of our money. We were told each time that they would investigate and call us back. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK.
We are still working on trying to get our money back. We don't recommend this dealer because of the after sale customer treatment

I had my 40,000 mile service this morning at Clear Lake Momentum VW. Everything was great and went as I was told it would. I made my appt with Gloria last week. She gave me a rundown of the services they would perform and the approximate cost. She also told me it could take up to three hours. I brought work with me and was able to enjoy a quiet, well-lit environment to do my computer work. The dealership is very well-appointed. Service completed in two hours even with two extra items needed to be replaced and the washing of my car. Very happy and satisfied with Gloria and this dealership.
Worst Car Buying Experance in my Life - Tired of Games
Being 63 and a former car salesman in Austin for over 8 years I can tell you this was the worst place I have ever dealt with. I should have left after the manager lied to us and told us there wasn't any jabanero orange beatle convertibles.available while my wife was looking at one in San Antonio. or after 9 hours there I wouldn't ever take the care there for service. Never Again.
No title paperwork - Wayne Terry
Came in from out of town Brian my salesman picked me up very nice gentleman. I got to dealership was given a folder that supposedly had all the paperwork in it, I wish I had checked it before I left. All of the paperwork that we had signed to buy the car which we paid cash for was sent in overnight we never received any copies of any of the paperwork we signed we did not receive the paperwork we needed in order to title the car. Got a call from Dana that our manufacturer's statement of origin was ready to be sent out. They said state law required them to wait 10 days after receiving payment to give us our statement of origin when checking with the State motor vehicle department I found out that I should have received it when I picked up the car. still waiting for all my paperwork that I never received.

I leased a Passat from this dealership two years ago. in the summer of 2016, we decided we needed to trade it in on something bigger as we were about to have our second child. After we traded in our VW, my wife and I went to the dealership and filled out paperwork to get a refund on our extended warranty and service contract. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks and we would receive a check in the mail. After 10 weeks, I called to follow up with the dealership. No one from the finance department returned my calls for a week, and when I finally talked to someone, I was informaed that something happened in processing and it would be taken care of within 1-2 weeks. It has now been 17 weeks and I have still not received anything. No one that has said they would call me with an update has followed up, and we are still without our refund. We loved our VW, and would absolutely consider one down the road for a commuter, unfortunately, I have lost all faith and trust in this dealership.
