I first want to say that my husband and I have been to many dealerships and have purchased at least 10 cars in the past 7 years. Therefore, it's no small thing for me to say that our experience at this dealership was the BEST out of them all. I think that the other places need to take notes and they would greatly improve their customer satisfaction. We came here at were casually approached by Paul, our salesperson. He wasn't pushy and yet he was attentive to our every need. We genuinely enjoyed dealing with him and are so glad glad that he was the one that greeted us upon our arrival. Once it was time to get down to the details of our trade value and ultimately the purchase of a new car, Beth, one of the managers came to speak to us. She presented the numbers and my husband and I felt like she was very fair in their offer. I usually feel a little slighted at this point in the deal but in this instance I must say I didn't feel that way at all. I am so glad that we came here and if I buy another Volkswagen in the future, we won't go anywhere else.

I had my 40,000 mile service this morning at Clear Lake Momentum VW. Everything was great and went as I was told it would. I made my appt with Gloria last week. She gave me a rundown of the services they would perform and the approximate cost. She also told me it could take up to three hours. I brought work with me and was able to enjoy a quiet, well-lit environment to do my computer work. The dealership is very well-appointed. Service completed in two hours even with two extra items needed to be replaced and the washing of my car. Very happy and satisfied with Gloria and this dealership.

My wife and I drove cross town to see a GLI Archer had in stock and to see what kind of an offer they could make us for our trade. We were met at the door by Kirk who was very welcoming and extremely patient with us while we had to call our insurance company to have an insurance card faxed in. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and you could tell that their staff was very close knit - just a different vibe entirely.
The very first offer they made us was equal to the best offer we received the day before at another dealer after an hour and a half of haggling.... My wife is extremely conservative and responsible which naturally makes her a tough sale and always inclined to "walk"; but, Patrick was determined to make us an offer that would "knock your socks off" and make your "can't do it yet" into "I can't leave without it" and he did.
Every person we dealt with was extremely courteous, friendly and you could tell enjoy what they do. Jeremy explained that MANY of their staff have worked for Mr. Archer for 10 years or more and it shows. I love buying from a family owned business rather than a huge corporation - that still means something to me.
In my almost 40 years of driving, I've purchased numerous cars; but, yesterday's experience was the easiest, least stressful and most fun auto purchasing experience of my life. I could not possibly recommend a dealership more highly and if you don't give Archer a chance on your next purchase you will be doing yourself a disservice.
C'Mon in and see if you you can out bang me on the gong after you buy...!!! I doubt it. :-)!

I called the parts department at around 10 am and Curtis picked up the call. He was friendly and knew exactly what part I was referring to when I talked to him. They only had one more left and had it said aside for me since I told him I would be there in about an hour. When I went in to pick up my part he was quick with looking up all the other none essential parts I was looking for. Great job Curtis, you the man.

Johnny was super helpful with me while servicing my car. After he finished changing the oil, he showed me some other things that were wrong with it (tire tread, filters, etc.) and asked if I wanted to replace everything and when I asked his opinion, he was real honest with me and told me certain things weren't too important to replace but other things were. I appreciated the honesty and I'm definitely going back for all my car needs.

He was honest with me and did everything he could to stay in my budget and meet my car need. Bob, in finances, did an amazing job working with me and with the help of John, the sales manager, they were able to get me a great car at a fabulous price. As a woman, I appreciate a car place that does not try to take advantage of me. That is extreemly rare and so is this establishment. Do not buy from these people they will tell you anything to sell you a car.. The car I bought had only 38000 miles I've had it for 3 months and had to take it to get worked on.. The warranty they sold us doesn't cover everything like the man said ..He told us is was bumper to bumper and thats was lie there is also a deductible on the warranty which he did not notify us of that. He said the car was pre owned certified which was a lie.. He told us that they work with BMW of Dallas and that is where they get their mini coopers from which is where I had to take my car to get fixed and I just found out that was a lie too.. It's going to cost over $6000 to get it fixed and the so called warranty will only cover $3000... About the third day after I had the car I called them and told them that the check engine light was on and they said that that's normal Mini Coopers do that sometimes it'll turn on and then it will turn off S since the third day that I got this car I've been having problems with it do not buy anything from these people..Itt will cost you more than you think..

I had the honor of working with Josef Puhringer at Clay Cooley VW. From the very beginning he and his staff treated me with respect. My situation wasn't the easiest. Due to recent family and life emergencies I had been struggling with keeping my payments up to date. But they were able to help me overcome those issues and get me into a cheaper car payment that served my immediate needs. They never treated me as if I was a hassle to deal with.
I know that I can count on them to put together a financing option that would help me out not only right now but also in the future as my financial situation improves with time. They were able to see that I at one point had tier 1 credit but had been stumbling as of late due to my family situation.
The financial manager, Troy McCowan, showed me everything that was available and broke all the numbers down. I look forward to working with them again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great customer service during their car buying experience.

I have always been a VW fan, but after buying my preowned 2013 Jetta from Onion Creek VW, I am a huge fan of this dealership, also. My salesman, Soul, asked what features I wanted in a vehicle and showed me a variety of cars that fit my needs. There was no pressure to buy a car, unlike dealerships I've purchased from in the past. I purchased a NEW Jetta here 12/19/2015, PURCHASED the platinum $2000 extended warranty. My credit union agreed to refinance On 1/19/2016(about a month later) I went to get the warranty cancelled before I Refi just so I can finance a smaller amount. Feb3 my finance guy Jorge calls and tells me Fidelity is telling him they don't have record of my car EVER HAVING EXTENDED warranty, THEY CANT CANCEL SOMETHING THAT I NEVER HAD.
I call Joe the finance guy at this dealership says its Fidelity's fault, I call Fidelity speak to a Manager they said it's impossible the dealership inputs the information. Long story short took the dealership TWO additional WEEKS TO ADMIT FAULT, I NEVER HAD THE WARRANTY WAS JUST CHARGED FOR IT!!!

My wife's car got totaled and we didn't have full coverage because it was so old.
Finding ourselves needing another vehicle I swallowed hard and started a process that I have always hated.
She took a shine to the VW Jetta so I reached out to Demontrond because they were close to my house and office.
I ended up dealing with Adam Culbertson and man, what a PHENOMENAL experience with both him and the dealership.
No hard sale, very matter-of-fact negotiations, so refreshing.
"Can you sell it to me for this price?"
"Can I get it in this color?"
"Ok can we get TT&L included?"
Haha...c'mon man. You know I can't do that.
"Fair enough. Will I have to sit in the dealership forever?"
Nope..tell me when you want to come by, I'll have paperwork ready.
After a handful of emails, a couple quick phone calls and 15 minutes at the dealership I drove our new car home.
The service is spectacular. They keep us posted on when the manufacturer's schedule requires maintenance and we have no problem getting appointments that fit our schedule. What's more, because there's another Demontrond near my wife's office she can often drop it off on her way in and pick it up on her way home.
I have HORROR stories about so many other Houston dealerships but Demontrond VW is awesome.
I'm sorry there are some other negative reviews on here...can't speak to those obviously but my experience is top notch.

Used car was filthy and had unsafe brakes! - Jdrum1
My girlfriend and I stopped by this dealer to check out a used car.
First, the interior was VERY dirty. It hadn't been detailed. I assumed it had just arrived, so they hadn't had time to get it clean.
I made a comment to the salesman about the state of the interior, and he explained that they don't detail cars at the lot. The only way they get cleaned is if a salesman takes it home and does it themselves! What? This can't be correct?!?!
We were still interested enough to take a spin, and I was alarmed at the state of the brakes. We've driven other examples of this model, and knew instantly they didn't feel right. The pedal was extremely spongy and vague. They didn't grind (an indication of worn out pads), so I'm thinking it was maybe an issue with the master cylinder. The brakes should have been addressed before putting it on the lot.
We were also only able to drive the car a short distance (probably a good thing given the brake issue). The car had no dealer plates and the salesman informed us it's around $500 if stopped!
It was an odd experience.......

My experience here is awful. I went to the shop on Friday morning to for regular maintenance and engine check. When they told me my battery failed and have to replace the catalyst converter, I agreed to the service and they admitted to give me 10% off from 2547 to 2274, and they said they would make it done tomorrow (Saturday) morning so I could get my car after Lunch. HOWEVER, I called the shop Sat at 1pm., my service management didnt pick up my call, then I called the shop, they told me the service would be closed at 2 so the earliest time i could get my car would be MONDAY! i am so disappointed and i knew they would not keep their promise, I HAVE TO RENT a car for Monday! I called them on Monday afternoon again, my service manager said the part would be at shop on Tuesday! Again, I have to take taxis on Tuesday for going out in the morning. Finally, Tuesday afternoon, they called me the car was ready to go (they told me at 2, i was busy till 8, so i could only go to collect my car on Wed), and they picked me up from my place to the shop on Wed morning, which is good. THE BAD experience is not over! On the receipt, they didn't give me the 10% off as they promised, the price was 2547, without any discount! And my service manager was not even there, I did not know who to argue on the price, and I felt so bad about everything in the shop! Why they just could not keep their original promise? They told me they could get it fixed on the next day and I have a 10% off, so I signed the service agreement, but they definitely do the opposite! Will never come back to this shop. I am new to Houston just 2 months, first time going to a dealer, feel so bad about the whole process.
Bought a used car in bad condition - Sadness
Do not buy your next used car here! I was sold a used car with lotts of issues. Russ sold my friend and I bad used cars. All he cared about was making the sale. Do not believe carfax either. My car was in a wreck but carfax didn't list it. I could go on about all the work I've put into this car. Do not do business with these people! Now I'm stuck for 6 years with this car.
