Best car buying experience ever! - Gearhead60
We bought a car in September 2016 and had a good experience with the dealership and personnel, but this year Mike Fairchild and Trent Walker went out of their way to make this the BEST experience we have had in buying a vehicle to date. Thanks to Mike, Trent, and John Franco for their time and patience.

Great experience - Happybuyer
we loved working with our salesman, Chase Brickey. He was awesome. He stayed on top of everything from beginning to the end of our deal. Everyone else was so nice and ready to help as well.
A very pleasant process - Silver18
After contacting the dealership about looking to test-drive some different models, I had a great experience working with Jay Wilson. He was very informative on the various models and packages available and never badgered us or made us feel pressured (unlike other area dealers). We ended up test driving a number of different models and Jay was timely thereafter in helping us choose which financing plan was going to be a good fit for us. Once we finally decided on a model and package, Larry Chabert was very helpful in taking us through the necessary paperwork and provided a wealth of knowledge

Unprofessional Service Director & Staff - Kinshuk Srivastava
One of most unprofessional place I have ever been. I drop my car 7 am in d morning on d request of James J Saliva. They called me becoz of d wrost service they have given me and want to make up for that. They had my car for the entire day and didnt fix or do anything. Nobody even calls to tell me wat is going on with my car. I went in d evening to pick my car .... i asked for my keys .... They Don't know where my keys are. They Don't ve any work ethics in them. I totally wasted my time by coming to this place again.
Don't go to this place. Their technician are not able to identify the problem correctly. I got my Volkswagen jetta serviced here couple of months ago ..... they said to me that check engine light is on, do this do that. I got d work done whatever they said. The same problem started all over again and this time they are do this and do that becoz it's different problem. Both the times they said engine requires work. They are simply making people fool who doesn't know technicality.
I m not going to this place again. Not at all.
Horrible service!!! Bunch of liars!!! - Galicia
I purchased a brand new car, the car was supposed to come with some accessories. The managers claimed they would called me back to fix the issue, they never did!!!!! They even hunged up on me once. The General manager still hasn't called me back. At this point I wished I would never purchased from Automax... Round Rock location is way better!!!! I wished I would of gone there.
Great car buying experiences VW Jetta - Jettabuyer
The salesman Enrico Wood was very helpful. We did the entire transaction over the phone and internet. I waited in my own office working while they churned away their numbers and gave me a competitive price. Total wait time at the dealership was one hour in and out with a new car. I could not believe it!! Best experience I've ever had. Neither the alesman or the finance guy we're pushy. They understood how important time is for their customers.
First time here -great service dept - Generic Tom
First time to use service- had an oil change done. Very fast Chuck Hosek took excellent car of me. The free car wash much better than other dealers included a vacuum of the interior
100% Satisfaction - chavelasco
This dealership and especially Romina helped me find the car of my dreams and worked with me like no other dealership ever has. I 100% feel confident with the car I have chosen and the attention to every detail on Romina's part was spectacular. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to anyone who ever needs to purchase a new vehicle and Romina especially.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DEALER! - suzanne
Wow-this is WORST car buying experience I've ever had. The dealer represented my car as in great mechanical shape. I was buying my son's first car, and told them I needed a sound car. They said this one was in excellent shape. A couple hundred miles later and it needs thousands of dollars in repairs. And guess what? The DEALER WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE CAR. In fact, the service guy told me "Oh well, you bought a used car." The general manager is claiming that I could have bought a warranty, but at signing I was told the "Lifetime" warranty that comes with the car would even cover the engine. In fact, it doesn't cover anything.
I am appalled at the response of this dealership when I asked them to fix the car. Here is one of the things he said to me in an email:
"The vehicle obviously did not have these problems when you took delivery or you wouldn't have bought it."
Really? I wouldn't have bought it if you'd told me it was a lemon!!!
My advice? RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ONCE THE SALE IS MADE, THEIR SMILES AND NICE ATTITUDE GO AWAY. Just look at some of the other reviews they have. This isn't the first time they've done this.
Don't buy here - Tony Helms
Do not buy from these people they will tell you anything to sell you a car.. The car I bought had only 38000 miles I've had it for 3 months and had to take it to get worked on.. The warranty they sold us doesn't cover everything like the man said ..He told us is was bumper to bumper and thats was lie there is also a deductible on the warranty which he did not notify us of that. He said the car was pre owned certified which was a lie.. He told us that they work with BMW of Dallas and that is where they get their mini coopers from which is where I had to take my car to get fixed and I just found out that was a lie too.. It's going to cost over $6000 to get it fixed and the so called warranty will only cover $3000... About the third day after I had the car I called them and told them that the check engine light was on and they said that that's normal Mini Coopers do that sometimes it'll turn on and then it will turn off S since the third day that I got this car I've been having problems with it do not buy anything from these people..Itt will cost you more than you think..
Best auto purchase..... EVER..!!!!! - D Branham
My wife and I drove cross town to see a GLI Archer had in stock and to see what kind of an offer they could make us for our trade. We were met at the door by Kirk who was very welcoming and extremely patient with us while we had to call our insurance company to have an insurance card faxed in. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and you could tell that their staff was very close knit - just a different vibe entirely.
The very first offer they made us was equal to the best offer we received the day before at another dealer after an hour and a half of haggling.... My wife is extremely conservative and responsible which naturally makes her a tough sale and always inclined to "walk"; but, Patrick was determined to make us an offer that would "knock your socks off" and make your "can't do it yet" into "I can't leave without it" and he did.
Every person we dealt with was extremely courteous, friendly and you could tell enjoy what they do. Jeremy explained that MANY of their staff have worked for Mr. Archer for 10 years or more and it shows. I love buying from a family owned business rather than a huge corporation - that still means something to me.
In my almost 40 years of driving, I've purchased numerous cars; but, yesterday's experience was the easiest, least stressful and most fun auto purchasing experience of my life. I could not possibly recommend a dealership more highly and if you don't give Archer a chance on your next purchase you will be doing yourself a disservice.
C'Mon in and see if you you can out bang me on the gong after you buy...!!! I doubt it. :-)!
Does not honor their word - beyert1
Purchased a 2016 VW Jetta from Autonation VW in Richardson. Shortly after my purchase the dealership was sold to Clay Cooley. When I purchased my Jetta I was sold 2 oil changes, supposedly at a discount, which are done every 10,000 miles. When the time for my first oil change approached I was informed Clay Cooley VW Richardson would honor the oil changes and they did on the first one. Fast forward and my next oil change is due but, Clay Cooley won't honor it because, well, they don't want to. That was the reason given to me. No notice from them via email, phone call, nothing. I spent my morning driving over to the dealership and expecting the service I had paid for but, it did not happen. I spent the next 2 hours on the phone trying to get an Autonation dealership to change the oil and they all said it should be done at a VW dealership due to the parts and tools needed. So, I scheduled an appointment with Rusty Wallis VW to have it done but I will being paying for it, again. I am not happy a dealership went back on their word to current and future clients and then treats them like idiots because they don't want to stay and pay for the service already paid for and promised. I have to admit, I now can see why their service bay was empty. Normally I go to a car dealerships service bay and it is busy with people getting oil changes and having service so, people are learning not to go to this dealership for your service.
Awesome - Alfredo & Rosie Tovar

Worst Car Buying Experance in my Life - Tired of Games
Being 63 and a former car salesman in Austin for over 8 years I can tell you this was the worst place I have ever dealt with. I should have left after the manager lied to us and told us there wasn't any jabanero orange beatle convertibles.available while my wife was looking at one in San Antonio. or after 9 hours there I wouldn't ever take the care there for service. Never Again.
SERVICE WORK - randy
Adam Soloway at Metro Volkswagen is the best guy for getting service work done. He gets it done as quick as as possibly and clearly explained in detail what needed to be done on my car . I highly recommend him to friends and family. I am very selective on who i let work on my vehicle but i don't need to worry about anything when i give Adam the key to my car he's honest and trustworthy and at all times keeps me.up to date on the status of my vehicle.
Have pride in your work - nmares7
I've taken my car in for service 2 times for some warranty work both times the mechanic never cleaned up the engine bay finger prints oil stains hose left un plugged. The service advisor seemed like she had an attitude not wanting to deal with my extended warranty
Friendly and helpful...!! - kkr123
I have been helping my daughter look for a new car. The people here where extremely friendly and helpful. Although we are not ready to purchase today, we will be buying from West Houston Volkswagen.
Service Up Sell? you know they do it. - BeetleBoy
Had my '06 Passat towed in with 'Steering Column Lock!' and 'Immobilizer Active!' messages. It has one of the electronic push in keys. Car would start but then immediately die.
Initial diagnosis was replace the electronic steering wheel lock module for around $800. Agreed to that service charge. The car has been very reliable for years and that was reasonable to get another 150,000 or so miles out of her.
Update from their 'Service' department. It needed a new Comfort module, since the new steering wheel lock module was not compatible with the old Comfort module. THAT doesn't make sense and whatever that comfort module is. Why would VW (or ANYONE) build parts that are not compatible with their existing parts. Another $800+.
Had enough and decided to purchase a CPO from them. When I asked to get all my items out of the '06 Passat, they drove it round to let me gather everything. xxx?... it drives
I do LOVE Autobahn VW dealership in Ft Worth and brought the '06 Passat there for EVERY service even though I live here in McKinney.
There is another issue with the Sales department (new CPO purchase) here in McKinney, but I will post that in another.
