My wife and I drove cross town to see a GLI Archer had in stock and to see what kind of an offer they could make us for our trade. We were met at the door by Kirk who was very welcoming and extremely patient with us while we had to call our insurance company to have an insurance card faxed in. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and you could tell that their staff was very close knit - just a different vibe entirely.
The very first offer they made us was equal to the best offer we received the day before at another dealer after an hour and a half of haggling.... My wife is extremely conservative and responsible which naturally makes her a tough sale and always inclined to "walk"; but, Patrick was determined to make us an offer that would "knock your socks off" and make your "can't do it yet" into "I can't leave without it" and he did.
Every person we dealt with was extremely courteous, friendly and you could tell enjoy what they do. Jeremy explained that MANY of their staff have worked for Mr. Archer for 10 years or more and it shows. I love buying from a family owned business rather than a huge corporation - that still means something to me.
In my almost 40 years of driving, I've purchased numerous cars; but, yesterday's experience was the easiest, least stressful and most fun auto purchasing experience of my life. I could not possibly recommend a dealership more highly and if you don't give Archer a chance on your next purchase you will be doing yourself a disservice.
C'Mon in and see if you you can out bang me on the gong after you buy...!!! I doubt it. :-)!

I walked into the dealership with the purpose of driving away with a car, and they definitely delivered. Mike Hall is friendly, honest, and most of all, he listens to what the customer wants. It was the listening that ultimately lead me to purchasing the car that day. Carey Broudy, in finance, told me all about the add-ons, such as, extended warranties, road side assistance, oil changes, and so on, and after explaining what was included and actually worth money, he didn't try to talk me into more than I wanted. I live better than 40 miles from this dealership, but it was worth the drive to talk to the great folks at Hendrick. I never felt pressured into making a deal and everything was explained thoroughly so there was no confuse. If I could write a one word review it's Honest. Through each step, consultation, sales, and finance, they were completely honest with me. 10/10 would buy another car from this dealership

A most terrible experience.
We brought our pristine VW Phaeton W12 with 55k miles [$103,000 when new] with VW Easydrive Platinum warranty, for a battery drain, sunroof switch problem, door lock problem,s and horn replacement.
The horn was replaced, the sunroof switch was replaced, but broke again on the way home from the dealership. The door lock's were not fixed and they wanted an additional $2050 in diagnostic fees to repair them. [The car is still under warranty mind you!]
They also replaced the "Keyless entry module". That repaired the battery drain, but they didn't know enough about the car to realize that they had fixed the problem.
We declined the $2050.00 fee to diagnase the door lock's and we picked up the car under the advice of Vince the service manager.
He expressed concern that they're warranty claim of $2300.00 would be declined, as they had not repaired the car properly.
He advised us to come back later.
We picked up the car, they had it for three weeks and we had lost confidence in them.
When we got home we found a severely scratched roof.Damage to the drivers door glove box, grease spots on the cloth headliner, rattles in all four door's, and the sunroof was still broken, though they had replaced sunroof parts and charged the warranty company for the repairs.
Mark, their lead technician was responsible the REPAIRS/ PROBLEMS..
We called Jason our service adviser several times to express our concerns. He gave us a PHONY EMAIL to send our complaints and pictures too, [ jason_----@Yahoo.com] His email at email@example.com came back as undeliverable, [ smacks of deception]
We tried to call Jason at the dealership several times and he would not return our calls.
After two weeks we called and talked to Mr.King, a manager at VW of corpus. We talked about the problems and he said he would get back to us the following Monday.
That was three weeks ago and still no call.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY SERVICE!
They charged us $205 per hour, which is commensurate for a VW Phaeton expert.
They are far from expert, [ I would equate them to a " Jiffy Lube that sells cars". Not a VW Expert Service Facility.
I have 35 years professional experience working on high end German cars.
I took our car to them because it is still under warranty, and I dont have access to VW proprietary information.
What a mistake. I will never do that again. I'd rather pay out of my own pocket than have them work on and damage my car again.
In closing, My professional opinion is ," THEY ARE UNQUALIFIED, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST!.
They do not care about their customers, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!

Bought my VW TDI Passat two years ago at VW of the Woodlands and I can honestly say the level of customer services has severally gone downhill (BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE) at this dealer since then. I would highly recommend that you find another VW Dealer
Service: If you want to book an oil change, then it will be about a week wait (FYI they cost about $160 to $800 depending on the service interval of your TDI). They either are understaffed or don’t care (based on the attitude on the phone when booking an appointment, I would say they don’t care). My last service they spilled DEF in my Trunk making a mess and I now have white crystals growing.
Referred Customer: I referred my brother to this dealer based on my good sales experience over a couple of years ago. The sales staff seemed less than helpful and were not interested in showing him the car he wanted. Needless to say, he went down to DeMontrond VW on 45 North, and they provided great server and bought a new 2016 SEL Passat. I can say that I won’t make the same mistake recommending anyone to visit VW of The Woodlands again.
So to sum it up, IF SERVICE MATTERS TO YOU FIND ANOTHER DEALER!

Do not buy from these people they will tell you anything to sell you a car.. The car I bought had only 38000 miles I've had it for 3 months and had to take it to get worked on.. The warranty they sold us doesn't cover everything like the man said ..He told us is was bumper to bumper and thats was lie there is also a deductible on the warranty which he did not notify us of that. He said the car was pre owned certified which was a lie.. He told us that they work with BMW of Dallas and that is where they get their mini coopers from which is where I had to take my car to get fixed and I just found out that was a lie too.. It's going to cost over $6000 to get it fixed and the so called warranty will only cover $3000... About the third day after I had the car I called them and told them that the check engine light was on and they said that that's normal Mini Coopers do that sometimes it'll turn on and then it will turn off S since the third day that I got this car I've been having problems with it do not buy anything from these people..Itt will cost you more than you think..

What a great car buying experience at Clay Cooley VW Richardson. It started with just kinda browsing the lot while waiting for new tires to be put on my car. Eric Williams walked out of the building and instantly changed direction to take care of me. From the moment he asked if he could help me to the moment I rolled off the lot, Eric took great care of me. He listened to what I needed, he listened and understood my financial parameters and challenges and he worked on my deal until it was done. GM Robert Kersh got involved as well and in the end made the deal possible. Going through Finance was a breeze once the deal was final. I spent less than 2 hours at the dealership Thursday and Friday. None of that 'spend all day here' waste of time. Everybody was conscious of my time and I very much appreciated that. The friendliness, care, respect, and speed of going through and finishing transactions was phenomenal and unlike any experience I've had before. If you are looking for a great VW dealership to buy your car from, Clay Cooley VW Richardson is it. The people there make the experience. And if you need work on your car, I know first hand that they have on of the best teams of techs. VW or other brand, ask for Nathan Raines. You'll get a great mechanic with him.

My son took his Volkswagen Golf for service. I am appalled that after one year he needs new tires. And the inspection they did on the tires says they FAILEd. After a follow up phone call to Randell Reed service department Brandon said he still has 10,000 miles before he needs to replace his tires. So my question is did they fail or not. Are they safe to drive on? I thought Volkswagen promoted a safe car....well I truly don't know if my son's car is safe to drive.....this being said after our service visit, where I should have felt that my son's car was safe to drive off of the lot. I think I made a BIG mistake! I will never buy another Volkswagen. And you shouldn't' either! My sons safety is my priority so I will buy him new tires....

I had my 40,000 mile service this morning at Clear Lake Momentum VW. Everything was great and went as I was told it would. I made my appt with Gloria last week. She gave me a rundown of the services they would perform and the approximate cost. She also told me it could take up to three hours. I brought work with me and was able to enjoy a quiet, well-lit environment to do my computer work. The dealership is very well-appointed. Service completed in two hours even with two extra items needed to be replaced and the washing of my car. Very happy and satisfied with Gloria and this dealership.

Issue with manager's behavior - shahdvds
My wife and I went to Ancira Volkswagen on Bandera for the issue we had with the new vehicle we bought couple of weeks ago and also wanted to see a another vehicle. They were not opened so we were walking and looking around the lot. As we were walking, the individual drove past us in a black RAM truck and he almost hit my wife in the lot. He missed it by few inches, and he did not even stop and park his truck. When I confronted with an excited voice, he said he was driving at 5MPH (but he drove past us at about 20-25mph) and he said to tone it down or leave the lot and kept walking. I said that I will report to manager. He replied I am the manager and I believe his name is Alvin. He was disrespectful and he wasn't sorry for what he did. He didn't care because he is a manager. I do not respect this behavior. I will not recommend this dealership only due to this Manger's behavior. I have given one star only reason of the manger's behavior. All other fellows are great and very helpful. I also postpone of buying another vehicle due to his behavior. I might take my business somewhere else. I'll also report this to VW.

The service consultant Laurie showed loads of attitude and didn’t paid attention to my problems. Later in that afternoon I got a call from her that that there was some issue with the volume while playing the radio but this was AS DESIGNED and they will not be able to fix it.
I was really frustrated with this illogical explanation and had to again go back to the service centre to meet the service Manager. The service Manager was a polite person and listened patiently to my issues. He assured me that my issue will be fixed and asked me to keep the car for a day or 2.
I got a call after 2 days that they were able to identify and fix the issue.

Miserable experience buying a VW GTI from them Feb 2011. Rep Lied during the sale so that at the last second, when we've already been kept waiting on paperwork for hours, the details and costs magically changed. Higher fees, of course. I felt cheated and lied to. Service Advisors were mainly good, but the good ones seem to leave. Last extended warranty issue was incorrectly installed, and one part came loose three weeks later, resulting in us having to have car towed in. They admitted they didn't install the part correctly, and apologized. Not two full weeks later, the battery we bought 2 years and 10 days ago went dead, stranding the car once again, and requiring a tow. Under 2 years, battery replaced for free. One minute over 2 years, and we pay "prorated" of $80-100, estimated. AAA will deliver the battery to the stranded car tonight and install for approx $128, and as we have to get back on the road, we are doing that. I explained to Service Advisor that maybe there was someone there who could make a goodwill gesture of extending the battery warranty until today, seeing that we experienced the mistake on their part just a couple of weeks ago, and this might even things out in the "we might feel good about your dealership again" department?
Absolutely not. "If you are out of warranty, you are out of warranty". Said it was unfair of ME to hold the bad work against them when this was a totally different issue. And only the Service Mgr (on vacation) or the GM (out for the day) could make a decision like this, so sure lady, you can have it towed here and we can replace the battery, and THEN you can discuss a possible discount tomorrow.

For their sky high prices, and conflict of interest re paying their techs on commission for the work done, we don't feel we can trust them. And because of their inability to empower the Service Advisors to make a customer happy, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

They have been lying to me from the day one. They don't care about their customers. Their Manager is an absolute crook! He will do anything to get you sign some initial papers so they can check your credit score. After that's done they would now just start playing with numbers. Nothing adds up or makes sense. If you ask for a fine print of the deal they won't even hand it out to you. Unethical business policy. I'll do whatever I can to make sure people avoid these crooks at any cost.
