After the work was done, they called and said that it didn't fix the problem so another $98 authorization...they called back saying they couldn't find anything yet and another authorization would be needed for going further...could be several hundred more dollars. I said NO, I cannot spend that much more on a 1994 jeep. I was told they would finish up but I would still have the same problem with starting and winter was coming etc... then miraculously, within 10 minutes of telling them NO, no more money, they called to say "I think we got it fixed". He heard a woosh sound and now it seems to be fine-amazing how that happened.
Not the end...after taking the vehicle home, we smelled gas (and so did our neighbor, who asked about it). I couldn't see anything and just let it go but every time I drove the jeep, the gas smell was overwhelming. After a few days, now there was a puddle under the jeep when stopped for more than 30 seconds.
Ewald was called and they refused to look at the problem without charging again. This is totally irresponsible-they caused the problem and after ripping us off for $940 they won't even look at it under workman's warranty.
DO NOT GO HERE...even my sister and brother-in-law bought their Jeep Grand Cherokee at Ewald and they will never go back due to terrible service and RIP OFF!!!
They were EXTREMELY friendly, I must say...so much so, I almost gagged.

They told me that they were looking for my kind of car, for a trade in. They gave me a desent price on my current car and sold me a brand new car for the same monthley price I was paying for the old one I had. No more more noises and I got a brand new car with the life time warrenty that chrysler has. With the way things are now I am glad that I got the chance to be able to get a new car and not have to worry about what was going to happen next to the old one.
