Was grateful that they fixed an ongoing issue and that it was covered under warranty since it arose before my warranty expired in the spring. Also happy that they gave me a loaner when the car was not ready was covered under warranty since it arose before my warranty expired in the spring. I had a five star experience when purchasing my CX50 Hybrid at Byers Mazda but my recent experience when bring my vehicle in for a tire rotation and multi-point inspection was a joke. My CX50 came with Hybrid at Byers Mazda but my recent experience when bring my vehicle in for a tire rotation and multi-point inspection was a joke. My CX50 came with one year of free scheduled maintenance, so I called and made an appointment to have my tires rotated and a multi-point inspection performed. I did not need an oil change since I do that myself. When I showed up for the appointment I was told that I would owe $19.95 for the tire rotation. I stated I had one year of free scheduled maintenance and was informed since I wasn’t including the oil change there was no way to get the free tire rotation. At no time when making the appointment or receiving the confirmation email of my appointment was I advised I would be charged for the rotation. I clearly stated and it was noted in the confirmation emailI that I didn’t need the oil changed. This is beyond ridiculous. The service department was saving money by not performing the oil change. Bottom line I left and will do the rotation myself and will take my CX50 to the other dealer in town when I need my vehicle serviced in the future. More
