After working an overnight 12hour shift I took my Acura MDX to Acura in reference to the horn kept sounding, interior lights flashing & the car not recognize the remote/won't start. A warning indicator even came on saying take the car to the dealer ASAP. I unplugged the negative after a while I was able to get the car started I drove to Acura of Pembroke Pines. The associate told me after appx. A 2hr wait that some computer part need to be replaced which is covered by my warranty but the part won't be available till June 8th. They rigged the car so I was able to drive it home with no issues as soon as I arrived home it started doing the same thing. I called associate he told me to turn it off & unplug the negative cable. Wow I wasn't even offered a loaner. This is a vehicle my wife drive with my minor kids. I can't have her unplugging a cable. I am disappointed Acura should have given me a loaner until the part came in. Acura is too good of a company for this nonsense. I don't feel safe or comfortable driving my kids in the car as such I guess I have to park it & wait till the part come in (unbelievable). More
The service was horrible, and I called the dealership to get some help with the items I purchased. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, and the person that answered the phone was rude. He didn't even let me finish when he interrupted and said I needed to contact my seller, and he hung off the phone. I texted so many times for almost three months the dealer seller Curtis until, finally, he answered and helped somehow. Then he didn’t know or remember what items needed to be placed in my car, and I was asked to look for the information to provide to them since they didn’t have my papers. I had to return twice to the leadership for the items I had paid for when I bought the MDX Type S, and they almost made me come for the third time since they stated the person that was supposed to do my ceramic for the car was too busy and booked. I will never return to this dealership. More
