Total Dissapointment Very dissapointed. It was all about money and not customer satisfaction. The tactics used to force you to buy their over priced service was despicable Very dissapointed. It was all about money and not customer satisfaction. The tactics used to force you to buy their over priced service was despicable. Such as doing a diagnostic that will cost you $115, unless you buy the service. Then they will waive the $115.00. The service I needed was a battery ... wait for it ... $420.00 for a battery! Then when you refuse their overpriced battery they get you with " we have rigged the system so you have to buy the battery from us or it won't recognize the battery" (SIC). That little service to "program" your vehicle to recognize your battery will cost you $170.00. Melting door handles that should have been a recall, would normally cost you $700.00, but I was lucky enough to call BMW USA and "only" got charged $300.00 for BMW's engineering mistake. A tiny little parking lamp that comes on when you open the door with your key fob will cost you $140.00. I will get rid of the car before I ever take my car to BMW Sarasota again. More

A/C stopped working Went in for A/C that had stopped working, On inspection a leak around the oil pan was also found. Brought the car in on Saturday a.m., but didn’t get Went in for A/C that had stopped working, On inspection a leak around the oil pan was also found. Brought the car in on Saturday a.m., but didn’t get it back until Tuesday afternoon. Seems like this is the norm at BMW of Sarasota; bring car in and don’t get it back in a reasonable amount of time. Not sure why things take so long and is a definite inconvenience. However, I must say that the staff in the garage, reception and Service Advisor, Valentina all very friendly and professional. More
