None of the usual car dealership games was in and out in less than an hour less than an hour More
Went in on a Saturday around noon. Test drove a Santa Fe. Liked it decided to buy. Had to leave to pick up car I was going to trade in. Saw the vehicle I was going to buy being loaded Test drove a Santa Fe. Liked it decided to buy. Had to leave to pick up car I was going to trade in. Saw the vehicle I was going to buy being loaded up by another couple. Contacted salesman who said he would get it back and to come in with the trade in. Finally got back close to 5, my vehicle still not back. Took my car to get appraisal and waited around 30 minutes. First offer was outlandish. My spouse said no walked out. Salesman kept stating he wanted to work with us, but my husband gave him a feeling like we weren't serious about a deal. I gave a rough estimate of where we needed yo be to even consider deal. 10 minutes later salesman finds us outside with a minor adjustment on his deal, told no again. We did this 3 times before a sakes manager talked to us and got us comfortable with signing a contract. Was promised a gift card when I made the appointment to test drive, never once was it mentioned and even emailed the manager to inquiry if it was just a ploy to get people in the door. Finally got to finance office around 8:40, had to continue to tell him no for extended coverages. Ready to leave still not with the car I just signed papers on but another one, with the promise it would be back and ready Monday. I texted salesman early Monday around 10, he texted back will be ready 5:30-6. We arrived at 6:10, car not in site. Finally get told people who took it Saturday didn't return it until 5:45. I delivered my old title as well as providing my new insurance card. We waited until 6:40 to finally do a check over on our new vehicle. I pointed out a few paint scuffs and chips. Salesman then tells me if I want them handled to let him know and we'll get it set up. Yes, I want them fixed! Overall it wasn't horrible, but being upfront and honest goes a long way. More
The Dealership was not as friendly as I expected them to be. Front desk didnt greet their customers at all as i observed. Our salesman Devante was very helpful and friendly. I thought the sales staff and Christian were very helpful in finding the vehicle that I wanted. It took a little longer than I expected but I do love my Santa Fe. The only thing I had issue with was how lon in finding the vehicle that I wanted. It took a little longer than I expected but I do love my Santa Fe. The only thing I had issue with was how long it took to get the interest rate and the amount I wanted to pay for my vehicle. I knew exactly what interest rate I qualified for and I knew the amount I needed to finance to get the payment I wanted. All in all I am happy. More
They're Johnny on the spot when they're trying to sell you a car but as soon as you need any after purchase help or questions answered, they're nowhere to be found.
