Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. On Saturday they had a cookout for customers, great beverages, and a very nice show room. I felt like I could relax and knew all of my needs were being met. Mike from finance was also very professional and a pleasure to work with. It was the easiest checkout of any vehicle I've purchased. I bought a 2018 F150 and from test drive to the last signature on the paperwork, every single person at Bill Utter was a pleasure to work with. Good car buying experience Jim Houghton is the internet manager; he is quiet and straightforward. Will Shropshire is the sale consultant; he is friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Jim Houghton is the internet manager; he is quiet and straightforward. Will Shropshire is the sale consultant; he is friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Lewis is the finance manager; he is helpful with good sense of humor. This trio combination is awesome because they worked with me on a deal that I believe it was fair and reasonable. I was in and out in less than 2 hours so I had plenty of time to drive my truck home (4.5 hours away). Another plus is the receptionist - she is beautiful and very nice (I forgot to ask for her name). More
