I had a five star experience when purchasing my CX50 Hybrid at Byers Mazda but my recent experience when bring my vehicle in for a tire rotation and multi-point inspection was a joke. My CX50 came with Hybrid at Byers Mazda but my recent experience when bring my vehicle in for a tire rotation and multi-point inspection was a joke. My CX50 came with one year of free scheduled maintenance, so I called and made an appointment to have my tires rotated and a multi-point inspection performed. I did not need an oil change since I do that myself. When I showed up for the appointment I was told that I would owe $19.95 for the tire rotation. I stated I had one year of free scheduled maintenance and was informed since I wasn’t including the oil change there was no way to get the free tire rotation. At no time when making the appointment or receiving the confirmation email of my appointment was I advised I would be charged for the rotation. I clearly stated and it was noted in the confirmation emailI that I didn’t need the oil changed. This is beyond ridiculous. The service department was saving money by not performing the oil change. Bottom line I left and will do the rotation myself and will take my CX50 to the other dealer in town when I need my vehicle serviced in the future. More

I have purchased at least 5x cars from Byers but it had been awhile since I'd had a car serviced. Called at 3:15 on a Friday afternoon to say my engine light had come on. Said I would bwing in and see if I could be picked up before close. Ken said I'll get you a loaner. By Sat. AM I had a detailed video from the technicians and was able to speak to them in person. CX-5 was ready by lunch on Monday. Incredible service and communication. Car repair is stressful. Felt literally taken care of. More
