12/11/2018 bought the Mitsubishi Eclipse Crossover. Staff and deal was excellent. My recent oil change in June 2020 at the new location, SUBARU, in Portage, IN was not very professional. When I turn Staff and deal was excellent. My recent oil change in June 2020 at the new location, SUBARU, in Portage, IN was not very professional. When I turned my vehicle over to Service Staff, Mario, I told him the vehicle had just been detailed and not to wash it. Oil service was done quickly and drove home, about 1 mile, and noticed oil on my driver's side door handle and on lower panel. I then checked underhood and oil had been dribbled on the plastic engine cover, radiator cover and around oil fill spout. Sure, it wiped off, but returning it like that makes you wonder about receiving quality service. The real downside was receiving email to comment on services. I did write about oil mess and indicated how I was wearing gloves due to the covid19 virus that kept me from noticing right away. I received a response on a Management team member would contact me within 24 hours. I waited 48 hours and emailed about no contact and was assured I would be contacted and days later no calls. I certainly don't wish for any punitive actions for anyone. Just they remember those who come in contact are the Ambassadors and those working in service dept. are staff who support the business and can cause loss of business for the Castle franchise. In my emails did ask for 6 oil plug crush washers for $1.50 each, regular price is $2.50, as a token of apology. Nothing responded to date. Positive note is the new dealership is very clean and staff has always been nice. I still recommend this dealership, but needs to get service staff to exercise better cleanliness on customers vehicles. Good example I went to pickup my vehicle and the vehicle was outside in the rain with drivers window left open, whoops! As a customer I expect better care of my vehicle while in the care of the dealership. More
Warranty work and Oil leak repair I had my 2015 Forester in for warranty work on the rear coil springs, and to check for an engine oil leak. The warranty work on the spring was comple I had my 2015 Forester in for warranty work on the rear coil springs, and to check for an engine oil leak. The warranty work on the spring was completed in a timely manner. The engine oil leak would take more time to repair. I was given a loaner car to use until my car was completed. Service Consultant Juan Torres was very friendly and helpful in getting everything I needed to make my visit a pleasant one. I have 2 Foresters a 2015 and 2016 which have both been serviced at Castle and I have never had a problem with and of the service work preformed. More

Service performance I had my first service experience with Castle on my new Outback. Castle picked up the car from my home in Beverly Shores and returned it 3 hours later I had my first service experience with Castle on my new Outback. My salesman is Mark Sattler, and he and I have had a good relationship over the years. Steve, the service manager, has always been friendly and very helpful and I've never had problems that he hasn't been able to sort out. I originally changed to Castle (as it's now known) for my second Impreza because I didn't like the changes at my original dealer, and because they were part of the Costco plan. It has worked out very well for me. More

They were adhering to the social distancing rules at the service advisors desk and the customer waiting room is large enough that you did not need to sit close to anyone while waiting. Everyone was pleasant and all service was performed as expected. One of the things I always enjoy is the complimentary free car wash. More

While what happened to me is in no way illegal, I do feel it was extremely unethical. Test drove a used vehicle here on Saturday. Had some other cars to look at and told him we would be in touch. Our sales guy didn’t mention that we could put a deposit on the vehicle to hold it. After some emails Monday morning, the sales guy recommends for us to put a deposit down because another sales guy was currently showing the car to someone. So after discussing it with my husband, I call to put a down payment on the car. The sales guy informs me that he needs to check with the other sales guy because he needs to make sure the other people looking at it hadn’t put money down on it first. He comes back to the phone to inform me that the other sales guy “took money” on the car. I’m okay at this point. I know this sometimes happens. It’s what follows that makes me upset. He proceeds to tell me that the other sales guy is trying to sell it to his mother-in-law. The sales guy was going to call her to see if she wants to buy the car but he wasn’t sure because she hadn’t even seen the car yet (even though he obviously lied to me and said that the sales guy was showing the car that morning and that he took money from them). After 20-30 minutes he calls me back and says that she is buying the car. So what really happened? My best guess is that the other sales guy found out someone was interested in the car so he “took money” so that he could keep the car to sell to his family. Unbelievably shady way to run a business. I did not expect this type of treatment from a larger reputable dealer. I don’t recommend for anyone to ever do business here. More
