Were not dishonest. This is your words as follows on a compliant you filed. On February 4th, 2022, I contacted Champion Chevrolet and inquired about a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. I was told by the salesperson, Kristen Martin, that Tahoes must have a deposit in order to hold one since they are "sold before they are even built." She said the deposit was non-refundable. We agreed to the price, I gave her a credit card and was charged $1000 to hold the car. The $1,000 can be used on a future deal. It was very clear as you said above the deposit is not refundable.

It was verbally mumbled to me 1 time by the chatty sales person on a recorded line conversation that the deposit is not refundable between extra friendly chats about church and kids. I guess she thinks we bonded. Then the deal sheet was sent which I refused to sign. I never signed a deal. Just because the dealership sent me a piece of paper via e-mail that I did not sign does not make the deal binding. And then the dealership tried to strong arm me into removing my negative reviews which I refused to do because they are truthful and unsuspecting consumers need to know. Here's an exact quote from the President of the dealership: "I am willing to donate the $1,000 deposit you gave us to the charity or non-profit, high school, youth program or a military program of your choice if you remove the bad reviews and BBB compliant you have filed once the inquiry with the credit card company has been closed."

We do have a charge for shop supplies on every service ticket. Its a standard practice in the business that is not unique to Champion. We do not charge to fill up your windshield wiper reservoir that requires special fluid we pay for, disposal of oil filters that is a cost to us of over $500 per month for all the filter we dispose of. Most dealers also have a processing fee in service today that we do not have. We promote our oil changes at a great price. We really appreciate your business.
