Great Customer Experience with Mark Lidano I recently purchased a Subaru Forester with the assistance of salesman,, Mark Lidano. Mark had been recommended by a very good friend. Before meet I recently purchased a Subaru Forester with the assistance of salesman,, Mark Lidano. Mark had been recommended by a very good friend. Before meeting him, we spoke on the phone. He was pleasant and truly wanted to know what I was looking for in my new car. I explained my need for a power seat and that truly I do limited driving. Mark asked several questions to better understand which model Forester might fit my needs. I was trading in a 2004 Forester and had less than 50,000 miles. That gave him a picture of my low, low mileage driving and my satisfaction with my previous car for its reliability. I explained that was key for me. No fuss!!! I also indicated that I wanted the whole transaction to be as simple as possible and Mark truly took that to heart and couldn't have been more helpful and clear. When I arrived he had"my car" awaiting me and we took it for a short drive. I only wanted to have the basics explained and we did much of that on the short and smooth riding test. Mark told me that if there was anything that I was on need of further explaining to just give him a call and since he lived in a town nearby , he would just come over to my house to help me!!! That alone says so much about how Mark is a great guy with a warm heart and the needs of his customers come as a top priority. I am delighted to say that Mark and my Subaru have more than satisfied a gal who needed a car, but wanted all things to go without a fuss. Thanks, Mark Lidano for being a gem!!! We also spent some time with Mike Nelson who has a job to try to sell more services and insurance. He did a good job. But when I tried to limit additional service and said that is my final answer,he kept going which I found to be unnecessary as we had reviewed things for at least 45 mins. I know that is his job, but I would have been happier if he took my final word without continuing to keep pressing his sale. More

Scathing. Gee, I wonder if these guys work on commission... came in to test drive a Subaru and the salesmen were all over the place... went to one salesman who Gee, I wonder if these guys work on commission... came in to test drive a Subaru and the salesmen were all over the place... went to one salesman who was clearly available, and then it turned out that, because I had inquired online, I had to wait to be “taken care of” by this other salesman. I came in with a price in mind and a car in mind and they had lured me in with an admittedly misleading advertisement.... and they wouldn’t give me a quote of any sort! Basically this person wanted me to play nice before they’d tell me a firm price so I’d feel like a jerk if I changed my mind. Well clearly that tactic worked... Cityside Subaru was of those places where the manager is on some grandstand physically above all of his employees. Also if 5 out of every 10 people on the planet is female, why no women on the Cityside sales team? I think there’s something to be said for that... could also just be a coincidence... I will say that Flavio and Tom D. were cool, and they’re probably in xxxx because they were much more professional to us than other people we encountered. They seem to know better, so they should probably be the ones running the place. Get real Cityside, it’s 2016 or whatever. Cityside should take some tips from the more successful dealerships in the area who actually got my business. More

Subaru Love Promise I had brought my car in for some repairs and the repairs cost more than what the car was worth.
