Exceeded our highest expectations Every once in a while, I have a good, pleasant and very comfortable experience buying a big-ticket item like a house or a car. In this case, it was a new Subaru Forester at CitySide Subaru in Belmont. This was my ninth Subaru, all of which were purchased in four different states over the years. A good experience is always a result of a well run professional management team as well as a competent sales associate. Our sales associate was Peter Rosenberg. His passion in life is photography but his avocation is selling Subaru automobiles. His talent is in “snapping” a verbal picture of the perfect automobile for the needs of each of his customers. It turns out to be almost a snap-shot of what your life will be with (in our case) the Forrester. After purchasing 8 Subaru’s previously, I knew I had a competent and informational sales person as soon as Peter opened his mouth in greeting. I also taught sales training for many years and so many of the necessary informational techniques were employed by Peter and I was impressed as we journeyed along in the sales process. The entire process made me feel comfortable in knowing that the ultimate decision was mine but the information I had to make a competent and wise decision was provided by Peter. It makes me proud to offer this evaluation of my experience with Peter and the Subaru team. Very rarely do all the right things come together when we have to make major decisions. Couldn’t of asked for anyone better My first encounter with Peter was not as my car dealer. He helped me put my plates on my first Subaru. But he left an impression on me. One that was like “this guy is so cool.” It was my second Subaru purchase that I really got to meet and know Peter. When heading in to the dealership I really was hoping that he was still there. And as luck should have it I landed at his desk! The rest is history. All I can remember is how happy I am with my car and what a magical experience it was. I would have never thought of buying a car and finding a friend at the same time. I honestly look forward to having my car serviced just so I can catch up with him. After every visit I’m always saying to myself “he is so cool”. I rave about him to my friends and family. They always stop and say who’s Peter? Great Experience buying a Subaru Mark was great. I stated what I wanted and Mark did not beat around the bush. He was very upfront and truthful about the pricing/delivery date. I boug Mark was great.
