Ms. Green, thank you for the feedback. Our Service Consultant Bob Tomlin and Service Director John Wigger have both tried to reach you via phone. Our Kia Factory Trained Technical Team diagnosed that your vehicle as needing an alternator and also a tensioner which was causing the noise you mentioned. As a courtesy you were not charged labor for the installation of the tensioner which had a cost of $191.99. We are not familiar with a tensioner being available for $30.00 online as you mentioned. We would not authorize our team to install a $30.00 tensioner on your vehicle due to safety concerns.
