We are longtime service customers of Cobb County Toyota, for both our 2015 Highlander and our 2017 Camry. We have generally been completely satisfied with their honesty and professionalism, and the quality for both our 2015 Highlander and our 2017 Camry. We have generally been completely satisfied with their honesty and professionalism, and the quality and promptness of service in the past. But not on this latest service experience with our Highlander. McKenzie was our service representative. On our recent appointment for an oil change for the Highlander, at around $50, she wound up recommending in additional $4,000+ for other work, including brake work, an alignment and tune-up which we independently confirmed were necessary, and very expensive service for leaking bearings in our suspension system (of which we had no evidence, either with fluid stains on our garage floor, or with the comfort and smoothness of our ride). When we declined that work, she said “Well, you don’t really need it.”! When we subsequently brought the Highlander back in for the alignment and tune-up, we waited an inordinate amount of time (25 minutes) just to drop our Highlander off and leave it for service, making us late for another appointment, and despite repeated contacts we couldn’t determine if our service had been completed and the vehicle was ready for pickup because she neither contacted us nor responded to our repeated phone calls and texts. Inexcusable. We will never accept her as a service rep again. So this latest service experience: questionable honesty and professionalism on required service, lack of proper communication and contact. Very disappointing. More

JC Cooper, who took my repair order, was extremely efficient in fixing my "busted passenger side Mirror." That's all I had to say. Within what seemed like three minutes (no further questions!) he said we have the part in hand, it will take about an hour to get it installed. I asked about painting or finding the "Moon Dust" cowling part, and he said, I checked it, the original is fine, we will re-use it. So I signed the order and left with my ride. I received a text that the work was done before I even got home, as we had another errand to run, and it took about an hour. So we went back, I paid at JC Cooper's desk, he handed me the key and told me where to find the car. I had told him I don't even need an oil change based on miles, so he checked the milage and didn't try any upselling. In all my 52 years of owning cars, this is the single most efficient repair I've experienced. Few words, flawless action, astonishing speed. Reasonable price. I could use another star, JC would get all six. More

This dealer has nickled and dimed me before. I live between 3 Toyota dealerships, and I need a major service next. Guess which dealership I’m not going to.
