It could have been a bad day but it turned out great! I had a 2014 Ford Focus with the clutch/transmission problem (3 replacements 2 under warranty 3rd paid for). I was pretty upset having to pay for a d I had a 2014 Ford Focus with the clutch/transmission problem (3 replacements 2 under warranty 3rd paid for). I was pretty upset having to pay for a defective design that Ford cannot permanently fix. With negotiation I was able to trade in the car with 0% financing, dealership paying off the remaining 7, 800.00 as down payment on new 2018 KIA Forte and they even returned the 1,146.00 I had paid to get the third Fore Focus clutch fixed. Best yet my monthly payment remained the same and affordable. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect go to John Senek. My husband and I have bought all our cars at Columbia Ford for 25 years and John is our go to salesman. John really helped me through this negotiation and treated me with respect and fairness. He went to bat with the company leadership to see that I was treated fairly. I am now driving a new 2018 KIA Forte. John Senek is ethical, honest knowledgeable and fair. Buy your car from him! The sales people I dealt with at the other Ford dealerships were very secretive, doing the whole back and forth routine between speaking to me and the finance department, starting out high showing me multiple quotes and slowly working their way down to what I could afford and pressuring me to purchase same day to ensure the price. When I went to Columbia, I told them directly what I was looking to pay, and the finance department spoke with me directly and gave me the best they could offer right off the bat rather than playing games. They were straight forward and to the point and didn't waste my time. The dealership itself was very unique and homey with historic elements that made it very inviting. More
