I appreciate Conner advising me of the cost of a part which was prohibitive and he did not order it. Something we both agreed to. (Over $600 for a fog light glass which had been broken by debris flying into it and breaking it) The staff are fine, but you need many more technicians to do the maintenance. More

They will fool you, if you trust them I was extremely clear in what I needed and what my current situation was. I not only had a clear email, but I also had four conversations by phone wit I was extremely clear in what I needed and what my current situation was. I not only had a clear email, but I also had four conversations by phone with the sales rep. I was clear since it would be a four-hour round-trip for me to get to this dealership. After many clear emails and phone-calls, I was instructed to come in on Friday, as the deal would be ending the next day. After driving for four hours on a Friday evening (in horrible CO traffic) I learned this sales-rep made a mistake. I'm OK with mistakes, what I'm not OK with is how clear I was and that instead of double-checking her work, or running her given quote past a manager to review, she confirmed all was true which she stated. After getting to the dealership and learning the quote was $400 dollars more per month (HUGE mistake, right)?! I was pretty irate and asked to see a manager. The manager came out all calm and tried to explain where the mistake was. I told him "I'm not an idiot, I know where the mistake was, what I want to know is how this happened since I was extremely clear in my needs and not only double checked but tripled checked with this sales-lady before I drove four-hours out. She even told me she ran it past her manager." He didn't have a good reply and I could tell he felt bad, and this was out of his control. I told him I was surprised that such an elite dealership, who's supposedly number one, how do they have reps out just spouting their quotes when they obviously aren't trained well. He then told me this rep had 5 years experience and so training was not this issue. . . which I say "no, if you give a sales-rep software to use, you do need to train before they are set lose to work directly with a buyer when a buyer is looking to buy a 60,000 car!" This was my first experience with an Acura dealership. I've owned Toyotta, Lexus, Honda, Infinity, Audi, VW, and currently own a BMW. In all my car buying interactions, I become more clear and do my homework before I actually spend time at the dealership. This last time, I spent the most time doing my homework previous to going in and learned all which was said to me was completely wrong. I wasted my entire Friday night and here I am Monday, still extremely upset about it. I'm just saying, do your homework with more than one Sales Rep previous to going in, and run it past a manager or more to have people's homework checked. And, don't count on anyone taking accountability, and plan to leave there feeling mind-baffled and frustrated. More
