Brought a car in for recall work. Breaks were working fine when we brought it in. Upon return they were spongy and had a lot of travel. Press the brake and it would go almost all the way to the floor. As fine when we brought it in. Upon return they were spongy and had a lot of travel. Press the brake and it would go almost all the way to the floor. Asked about it and was given various reasons why, including that that's how every single vehicle works now. Car did stop but too much play in the brake pedal for me. Brought it to our garage back home. Was told that there was air in the brakes. They were bled again, and now our back to the way they were. The staff is friendly, they are definitely in it to make money, as been tried to be pushed to spend almost thousands in unnecessary repairs. Was told needed brakes and rotors and battery. I did need pads, b money, as been tried to be pushed to spend almost thousands in unnecessary repairs. Was told needed brakes and rotors and battery. I did need pads, but definitely no rotors (vehicle has 39k miles on it), I had battery tested and still had 90% life. I feel like I could’ve been taken advantage of if I didn’t know any better and would’ve been out $450 for brakes and rotors and $400 for a battery. More
