We called the company tekonsha and spoke to Andrea and she told us that the Primus™ IQ. PN 90160 retails for 107.91. We are writing this review to let Criswell Chevrolet dealer in Gaithersburg, MD, 20878 know that they ripped us off by selling the Primus™ IQ. PN 90160 to us at 166.33 over retail price. Total install They charged us 720.00 to install brake controller plus 371.25 to install plug in back off truck for a total 1,091.25 to install the braking controller. On our first visit we arrived for service we were asked by john Ziegler our service manager that we could not leave our truck on the lot of service because the service center was not ready for us and john Ziegler our service manager stated that the owner of Criswell Chevrolet dealer stated that then he looked out his window hour large truck was to big and we would have to leave for 20 min's and then come back to get it serviced. On our 2nd time to the dealer they hit us with the over charged price and when they brought the vehicle out to us john Ziegler our service manager stated that the owner said that we would have to leave the dealer ship ASAP because our vehicle was to big and the owner does not want to see it sitting on his dealer ship. This was our experience at the Criswell Chevrolet dealer. They also never finished all the service work and when we asked them about it the serve manager told us they forgot about it. We have call them about this and asked to speake to the owner we received a call but no one could help us and the owner never called us. I have left several massages about my bill and issue, no luck or phone calls back yet. 10/28/13 and still no luck with issue. More

I came to Criswell Chevrolet looking for a new SUV that fit my budget. I worked with Frank Destefano and he was very straight forward and extremely helpful. I would definitely say that Frank went above and beyond all aspects of his responsibilities as my salesperson, from running down the street and flagging down the driver of a big rig that had loaded the car by accident to transfer to another dealership, to personally detailing the car exterior and interior to ensure that the car was spotless and in pristine condition on the day that I came to pick her up. That is a level of customer service and dedication to your client that is rare and is highly regarded in my book. He was also very helpful during the pricing negotiations. I felt like he was on my side the entire way and that was extremely reassuring. The dealership does insist that you take a test drive of the car, but I think that everybody should test drive the exact car that they are planning on buying. All in all, I would most definitely recommend Criswell Chevrolet and Frank Destefano to everybody that I know and am proud to tell all the people that compliment my new ride that it's a Criswell. I purchased a 2013 Chevy Volt. The whole process was straightforward and the staff was respectful and informative. Considering I was interested in a specific car, it took a bit longer than I had hoped ( straightforward and the staff was respectful and informative. Considering I was interested in a specific car, it took a bit longer than I had hoped (over four hours), but the dealership's policy is to make sure certain things happen (test drive, familiarity with the service department and practices). All this protects them and the customer from future disputes ("you didn't tell me") so I can't fault them for it. (I had test driven a Volt at another dealership, which is why I didn't really need to do it again) They presented and explained various additional products and service, but did not push them, which was nice. And I did buy the interior/exterior protectant, as the interior color is light and I've had good experiences with anti-stain protectants. Also, the protectant was a specific commercial product, not just the notorious "undercarriage coating". The trade in value they offered was a bit lower than I had hoped, but I had recent repairs, so I feel they were fair. For what it's worth, the selection of Volts this dealership had was much nicer than that offered by nearby dealerships (colors, feature combinations). I don't like chrome rims and didn't want contrasting interior color combinations, which you find frequently find in Volts. Many dealerships don't have anything else. But Chriswell had several "normal" combinations, at least three of which I would have been happy with. More

I contacted Stefan via their web page and he came in on his day off to help me buy a Chevy Avalanche. He worked with the sales manager to get me a good price and helped me through the whole process. Like many reviews before me, I found Mike Furman through the Corvette Forum. I had acquired a 2012 Grand Sport Convertible in January of 2013 and immediately had regrets about not spending the extra money the Corvette Forum. I contacted Mike via email and he quickly put the figures together. Since my wife and I were expecting our first child, I decided to keep the Grand Sport. Fast forward six months, my daughter is now three months old and my wife and I are in DC on business (we live 4 hours away). We decide to include a trip to Criswell and are introduced to MIke Furman. Mike shows us the 427 and my wife urges me to test drive the vehicle. I ask Mike is it really that much better? As an enthusiast, I see Mike's eyes light up and he tells me all the reasons why the 427 is 25% better than my Grand Sport. Still, I decide not to take it on a test drive, because I know that Mike's assessment will resonate with me. The following week we're back in DC on business. I've since exchanged a few emails with Mike and we've arranged to take it for a test drive. His assessment was spot on and the only decision to make was what interior option I would be selecting. I emailed Mike the next morning and told him what I wanted and informed him that my schedule would preclude me from picking up the vehicle for nine days. He said no problem and we picked up our new 427 this past weekend. If your thinking about buying a Corvette anywhere in the country, stop looking and contact Mike Furman. Mike was very understanding and when I got back my wife I went up and picked out a 2013 Grand Sport.
