2009 Tacoma Rusted Frame Replacement Based on Toyota's "Frame Replacement Recall", I bought my tuck in for a frame inspection. It was deemed safe to drive until a frame was ordered and r Based on Toyota's "Frame Replacement Recall", I bought my tuck in for a frame inspection. It was deemed safe to drive until a frame was ordered and received. This took about two months. The replacement work took 4 days during which time I was provided (at no cost to me) a 2017 4x4 Tacoma in excellent condition. Not a bad deal. Although my 2009 truck was now also in excellent condition with far more than the frame replaced I decided it was time to replace it with a new 2018 model. More
