Poor customer service I purchased a Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback from Dean Team. It had a little less than 11k miles on it and was in GREAT condition. As it was a co I purchased a Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback from Dean Team. It had a little less than 11k miles on it and was in GREAT condition. As it was a cool day, I test drove it with the windows down and sunroof open, no need for AC. As we were in discussions to purchase the car, my salesman, Levi, told me it would be taken back to the shop and given a multi-point inspection before I took it home. Great! We sat at Dean Team for over 4 hours waiting to meet with the finance department, and, in that time, the car was "looked over" by the service department. When I got in the car to drive it home, I noticed that, when I turned the AC on, it hissed and only spit out hot air. I called Dean Team and let them know. I was told by another salesman that I just needed to "let it run." So, I gave it a few more days. No AC, only hissing and hot air. When I tried to call the Dean Team to get in touch with my salesman and the service department, I was unable to reach anyone but a voice recording and hold music. This went on for multiple days, until I was finally able to reach someone in Service on Wed, June 19th. Once I talked to her, I was passed on to another woman, who passed me BACK to Levi (salesman). Instead of saying, "I'm sorry you're unhappy and that we missed something on our inspection, bring it to me and I'll take care of it," Levi simply told me to take it to the Honda dealership because, "That's all that I would do." After over a week of runaround and hold messages...and nothing. This is exceptionally poor customer service on Dean Team's end. I ended up taking my car to Honda, and it took me less than 15 minutes to schedule service with them. The car was diagnosed as having a broken compressor, which, according to the Honda mechanic, is something that the Dean Team service department should've seen upon their "Multipoint Inspection" when putting the car up for sale, AND when double-checking it before I took it home. I cannot believe that Dean Team let this car out of their sight with such a huge error, and that they were completely unwilling to fix it, preferring instead to pass the buck to various Dean Team departments and then, eventually, to the customer. I can say with absolute certainty that I will never purchase a vehicle from Dean Team ever again, and I will be encouraging my friends, family, and coworkers to do the same. More
