THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE After weeks of searching for a vehicle to replace our, 15 years faithful, Avalon that had recently been totaled in an accident we narrowed the field w After weeks of searching for a vehicle to replace our, 15 years faithful, Avalon that had recently been totaled in an accident we narrowed the field with the help of Consumer Reports ratings. We were also considering a taller vehicle to make it easier to get in and out of, which lead us to looking at the Subaru Outback, and Forester. After looking online at the DEAN TEAM of Ballwin, Mo. inventory we decided to make the trip from Godfrey ,Il. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendly, courteous, and very helpful salesman,Tim Ashley. He joined us in our search using his (hands on) knowledge of the Subaru inventory. We found him to be very patient in guiding us to streets during our test drives that were low volume traffic, yet we were able to witness most of the safety features that are available on the Subaru. After taking a short break for a late lunch we returned to DEAN TEAM SUBARU. Tim had acquired the keys to the particular Outback Touring that we were interested in. The Out back Touring still had the new car protective wrappings. After looking at it inside and out we decided to make the purchase. It was then that Tim teamed up with MARK MCNULTY , who assisted in the final negotiations. They agreed to install a remote starting system but it might delay delivery a few days. They stayed after closing hours just to complete the paperwork. This was on Saturday night. Monday morning we got the call that our new OUTBACK TOURING was ready to be delivered. We arrived at DEAN TEAM SUBARU before noon. Tim and Mark gave us a complete operation demonstration. Then as if they hadn't done enough, they drove the OUTBACK for her through the high volume traffic area to a place where she felt more comfortable with driving her new vehicle for the first time.
