Jamie Dodd explained every thoroughly, and made sure we were comfortable with our purchase. From the girl in parts dept, walking us through that dept, to Pete completely making sure we understood everything about our travel trailer. Dodd RV made us their priority and made us feel like family. When we upgrade to another RV, their is only one place the McGee family will go, Dodd RV! More

Best RV Service EVER I have now worked w/ Joey twice. He has gone above and beyond and he is what you expect for Great customer service. I had some electrical work done and they have explained all that needed to be done, gave quotes prior to service work. When you arrive in the showroom, your are greeted not only by the desk staff but all employees acknowledge you. Good bye Dixie RV and hello Dodds. On the way back to the Southside, we made our last stop at Dodd and it was just minutes before they were to close. We were welcomed and told to take our time to look around. We found a couple of travel trailers that we liked and were approached by Tina as we were looking at one model by Primetime Manufacturing. She said if we liked that one, she knew of one that might be just what we were looking for. She took us to one that was marked sold, that we had noticed but we could not enter. It was exactly what we were looking for and she knew it just based on our short conversation. No pressure, just showed us features and let the product speak for itself. Although it was getting to be almost an hour past closing time everyone was willing to stay to assist us. We made a decision to buy and stop looking. Great job of listening to our wants and above all, allowing us to shop even though they were not leaving work on time. More

This is our second camper. We upgrade to to a larger one. This is our first time with Dodds RV. First we went to RV show in Hampton earlier this month and met Al outside as we walked through those campers. H This is our first time with Dodds RV. Then we went in and walked around until we got to the Dodds area and met Tina and Mike, they were great, giving the information on the camper we fell in love with. March 22, we went to Dodds and met Dennis who was awesome with our walk through and would not go on until we got what he was talking about. After that we met Mary at Parts, she was great in telling us about the parts depart. Next we moved on to Jamie Dodd to go over financial information with us and he was also great with explaining and breaking down the information for us to understand. Finally it was time for us to pull away with our new camper. Yes this is long detailed review, but I wanted to make sure that each and everyone of you who read this review, know how great DODDS RV is. From the very beginning until the very end of the the process each and everyone of the people we met along our way was friendly, helpful, informative, and I'm sure it won't be the last time we see them. Visited the RV show in Virginia Beach and saw a motorhome we liked. Went to visit Greg at the Yorktown dealership and liked what we saw. Got home and checked Dodd's web site and found another motorhome we li we liked. Went to visit Greg at the Yorktown dealership and liked what we saw. From the time we walked down their sales isle at Virginia Beach Convention Center RV show, they have been nothing short of exceptional. We felt like we were talking to a long lost friend. Mike McNeil took the time to go over all the administrative details, never rushing us but rather giving us his undivided attention to be sure all our questions were answered. Jamie Dodd reviewed all the financing detail with us. He showed us every option available for purchase and gave us a wealth of knowledge about products and services that could both enhance our camping experience and protect our investment. The family name Dodd carries with it a great reputation in our community, and Jamie continues to be a credit to that name. Dennis Levick demonstrated the operation of our new RV top to bottom to be sure we understood the operational and safety process for all the major systems in the RV. We did run in to an operator error issue and had to call the service department for HELP!. Joey Lawrence came to the rescue on the phone and latter in the service department. He showed a level of professionalism rarely seen in business today. We were in a panic but he remained calm and talked us through the problem, brining it to a happy resolution. When we did make a service appointment for the operator error, Pete Foertsch was waiting for our arrival and went straight to work to iron out our problem. He evaluated every aspect of the problem and was not only able to correct the issue but his attention to detail improved the overall towing performance of the trailer. From the receptionist Debra who shared her homemade brownies to Mary the parts department guru, everyone made us feel welcomed and valued. We recognize and trust the brands they sell, but more importantly we embrace the way they do business, treating each customer as a part of the Dodd family.
