I apologize for the misunderstanding. After speaking with the advisor and service manager, I confirmed that the vehicle was brought in following an accident in which both right-side tires were blown out. Your insurance adjuster inspected the vehicle, documented the damage, and processed the claim related to the accident. We also included the skid plate in the claim; however, the aftermarket skid plate was why it wasn't covered due to not have OEM bolts/hole fitment. The insurance company declined coverage for its repair. At that point, the repair responsibility became customer-pay, and the repair was declined. To prevent the skid plate from dragging, we secured it using the remaining bolts and zip ties.
