My visit was a perfect example as to how the term "stealership" became so popular on ford tech forums. Quoted a 4k dollar repair. If a vehicles catalytic converters "fail" under 100k miles, there is a problem. If this is a common problem, it's poor design. Most likely caused by the poorly designed intercooler collecting moisture and sending it into the intake to form a mud in the "failed" cat. Ford should stand by their product and their loyal customers. I own a 1966 mustang, a 1995 f150, a 2016 f150, and an AMC Cj5 powered by a Ford 300ci 4.9l If I wanted poor products and customer service, I would've bought a GM or Chrysler product.
