The shop left a coolant hose loose and that caused my car to overheat and warped the engine block. Engine was replaced by dealer. However 2 months later the coolant leaked emptying the coolant reservoir. Go to overheat and warped the engine block. Engine was replaced by dealer. However 2 months later the coolant leaked emptying the coolant reservoir. Good thing it was time for an oil change and I noticed an empty coolant reservoir. I avoided serious engine damage. I took car to dealer shop to fix and they did. But the fact this happened twice is mind blowing. More

Called in advance to confirm inventory. Melissa seemed like she would be helpful up until arriving at the dealership (we live 45 minutes away) and being told by what seemed to be a male chi Melissa seemed like she would be helpful up until arriving at the dealership (we live 45 minutes away) and being told by what seemed to be a male child (Isaiah?) who clearly wasn’t Melissa by the way, that all 3 different vehicles we were considering and were interested in test driving and were confirmed via call and text that those 3 would be ready for us to view have “sold”. we thought maybe they were mistaken, so we asked to clarify that they were sure and by that other unknown associate we’re told again “sorry, all 3 are no longer available” found that to be interesting, but my husband and I have done this before and knew what game they were playing and decided not to waste another moment with such a dishonest team. And one of the vehicles that apparently “sold” just 45min before, we were told 10 minutes after driving away, that it was actually in the shop due to a recall and they don’t know when that would be available according to their bogus sales manager.They didn’t even try to have a more convincing response, which is not shocking but pretty funny for such a desperate team looking for a sale. Happily took our money, made an appointment at another Toyota dealership in greater Sacramento who knew customer service. Stay away from EG Toyota. More
