This was a very positive and pleasant car buying experience. There was no pressure at all and Roy was very informative and knowledgeable. The financial department was excellent as well. When it was time to finish the deal, I choose Suncoast Federal Credit Union and Rafeal said that their rate was even better and made the changes needed to finish the deal. Signing the the paper work was also a good experience.Only disappointment was when car was delivered that it could have been cleaner on the inside, windshield and windows were hazy. I purchased two vehicles from Ferman NPR in the past week and a half. Roy was a very calm no pressure salesman. We appreciated the way he gave us the figures we wanted and gave us time to talk and discuss whether the options would work for us. George also did a great job handling the paperwork and securing financing for us. He offered us all the warranties and things that he thought we might be interested in as new van owners but we never felt pressured in any way to take any of it. BUYER BEWARE!!! Although our purchase experience was a good one, it ended at that point. We bought a 2013 Dodge Ram. Picked it up on 02/16/2013. Two days later, the check engine light was on. Day 3, ne good one, it ended at that point. We bought a 2013 Dodge Ram. Picked it up on 02/16/2013. Two days later, the check engine light was on. Day 3, new truck in shop for service. Told it was fixed the next day. NOT! Back in the shop already for 2nd time. Still do not have our truck. After calling dealership and complaining, received a call from Service Manager Jim Shaw. Informed it's a matter of "educated speculation." In other words...it is not fixed, they do not know what is wrong, and they are taking parts out of other vehicles to try and figure it out. Owned it 10 days....guess we should be grateful we had possession of it for 3 days. To the management of Ferman Dodge Jeep and the management of Chrysler, we are waiting for you to have the integrity to do the right thing and provide us with a full refund. At that point, feel free to continue your science experiment on this truck until such time that you have figured out what the defect is. Our purchase was made in good faith. Our huge mistake was to purchase a new truck from Ferman of New Port Richey. More
Roy Faulkner, asked the right guestions to find out what we were looking for and worked to give us what we wanted. Being older we are not interested in a lot of the newer inovations. He went out of his way to find the color and extras we were looking for even though he had to go to another dealership to find it. We went in to see a challenger that I found on the internet. Kathy called me and setup an appointment to see the car. When we arrived at 6:00 PM the car was waiting and so was Roy to meet us. I went into this dealer today, 01/19/2012 because I received a flyer in the mail stating that they were interested in my 2006 Charger. I was wanting to trade my charger in because of the offer that the received a flyer in the mail stating that they were interested in my 2006 Charger. I arrived on the lot at around 1:00 PM and was immediately greeted by Nick, I at that time showed him the letter that I received from them and he walked me inside to his office that would be the second on in from the left got all of the information and the keys to my car so they could look it over to make a trade in offer. After he brought the car back over which did not take long at all we walked back into his office and at this time he said that he would need to talk to the sales manager to get a quote for me because he would have to look at the photo's they took and adjust for the milage etc.... ! This was all fine until I sat in his office for over 20 minuets with no contact what so ever! As I got up to leave I laid the $5.00 back on his desk that they gave me for coming in with there flyer and walked out of the dealer ship to where I saw Nick with someone else. He then ran up to me and asked if someone by I don't know the name came and took care of me at this time I told him no and that it looks like they do not care to do business with me or are just to busy for me. I have never been treated this poorly. I imagine this will fall on deaf ears and nothing will ever come of this. Follow up, I received a call today 01/21/2013 from Keith Miller, He did not make any excuse for the way I was treated because he said there was not call for it period. He did say they were very busy but at the same time there was still no excuse for the way my visit went. Keith asked if I would come back and deal directly with him and also offed some services for what had happened with my visit. I will go back and look at doing business with Freman just because of the call I received from Keith. More
