A call to the manager to address the delay in servicing my car found that the associate that handled the service of my car lied in a text message about the status of parts for my car. He followed-up promptly and professionally. He found that the parts department informed the service associate that the parts were available that morning for the service department to use. After the parts department discussed this with the service associate, the associate sent me a text message with the following: "Good morning, just reaching out to let you know parts have not yet arrived. I had a parts advisor let me know you called. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me as I have all the information about your vehicle. Thank you!" There was no miscommunication as the manager discovered: The manager talked to the parts advisor and was told that the parts had arrived. The parts advisor told this to the service advisor. The service advisor then sent the above message stating the opposite. I appreciate that the manager followed up quickly, discussed with me the actual situation of the parts status and that he would get my car back into the service schedule right away. More
