Coutney was super nice but the service was a disappointment. I went in for a routine oil change for my 2006 Mini Cooper S convertible. The oil change was a $100.00 and my "Service Engine Soon" disappointment. I went in for a routine oil change for my 2006 Mini Cooper S convertible. The oil change was a $100.00 and my "Service Engine Soon" light was on and they charged me $85.00 just to tell me my O2 sensor was bad. When they finished changing my oil, they presented me with a list of work that needed to be done; oil gasket, control arm bushings, O2 sensor, coolant flush and change, etc. Any way it added up to almost $3500.00. Way too expensive! Anyway, I had my local mechanic change the oil gasket for about 40% of the cost their service department wanted and my mechanic said he broke a 24" xxxxxxx trying to get the drain plug out. He said Ferman didn't replace the washer and it was metal on metal. NOT GOOD!!! So, I thought I would inquire about a trade-in and they insulted me with a $2000.00 offer; mainly because all the work that had to be done based upon their service departments assessment. My Miini has 73,000 miles and is in excelled shape for a 17 old car. Come on; TWO GRAND!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Long and short of it; I won't be going back! More
