I have just leased my second vehicle at this dealership and feel very comfortable with everyone involved. It is a stress free buying environment, which is pretty atypical at a car dealership! Everyone, from the General Manager, Steve Boyce, to salesman Mike Moursy, to John DePalma, who gave a thorough lesson in the technology of the vehicle, has been very open, forthcoming and top-notch at putting their customers at ease. I have always felt very secure in using their service department as well, as they service your vehicle without making you feel you are spending too much and buying unnecessary extras. I have never felt this way at a dealership before! This has been my constant experience, every time I brought my Legacy in for servicing. My expectation is that this honesty and professionalism will continue with my new Outback. I highly recommend Freehold Subaru! They are fair and honest in all their dealings with their customers. Its a very worth while class as you will start to appreciate all the functions that Subaru installed in your vehicle. He also offer to follow up a few additional items for which we had queries. 1 hour very well spent. Highly recommend it. More
Waste of Time My new 2018 Subaru Outback is only a few weeks old, and already has problems with the sound system. The hours at all the Subaru Service centers in the My new 2018 Subaru Outback is only a few weeks old, and already has problems with the sound system. The hours at all the Subaru Service centers in the area for this type of problem are really inconvenient (weekday mornings and early afternoons only). I left work early for a 2:30 appt. The check in process took longer than it should have, and the same person asked my name 3 times, which was not an impressive start. After waiting 75 minutes with no update on my vehicle (trying simply to have it diagnosed, not fixed), I went back to the service desk and inquired as to the status of my car. I was told it hadn't even been looked at yet. I was told there were two cars ahead of mine, and the service representative couldn't give me an estimate on when it might be seen. I asked them to grab my car for me, and am never going back to this service center. These places need to learn to staff appropriately, not overbook their schedules, and in the event they're still running late, call and let their customers with apts know that know so they're not wasting everyone's time. The expectation that I should willingly spend several hours during the business day to simply find out what's wrong with my brand new Subaru is utterly ridiculous. The manager phoned me after I left, and I missed his call because I was driving. I called back, left my name, and his voicemail cut me off before I could say more. I didn't receive a callback thereafter. This place is terrible. If you value your time, go elsewhere. More

I felt confident asking him any of the "silly" questions a technologically challenged person could think of. Kudos to John and to Subaru for hiring him and offering such a valuable service to its customers. More
