We stopped by Gravavel on way home from looking at a competing brand dealer. That dealer had advertised a new car at a very low price. We got there and found out it was a service car, none of the salesm competing brand dealer. That dealer had advertised a new car at a very low price. We got there and found out it was a service car, none of the salesmen wore their masks and high pressure salesmen luring you in with bogus ads.Just turned us off. Anyhow, we stopped at Garavel to checkout Subarus. We met Stephen, told him what we were looking for, the first choice didn't pan out. Out of our price range and to heavy to tow behind a rv. So he made us aware about the CPO warranty. Told us to feel free to look around and feel free to ask him any questions, gave us his card and walked off. What a good feeling to not have a salesman hover over you. We went home looked at their CPO Subarus online.. Found we could upscale in model from a new with a warrantied slightly used model Subaru. Called Stephen back for an appointment and we looked at the used upscale models he had in stock. Pleasure working with Stephen, Garavel and the CPO warranty, rest is history. More

I could not be happier with the experience I had with Darlene & her business manager Fumi buying my pre-owner Impreza. It’s beautiful, was aggressively priced with low mileage, and I was amazed by all the work they put in at their shop to make it like new! I found Garavel Subaru in Norwalk after shopping around the online-only sites for used cars for months! The prices weren’t making total sense to me and so I was considering shelling out for a new car. I decided to check out pre-owned/certified and once I figured out how to use the Subaru site I pretty much looked up dealerships using every zip code in CT and some in NY too. What I discovered was that Garavel had an incredible selection very competitively priced amongst the CT dealerships. It was easy to inquire about the specific car I was interested in using the online tools, and I received a call/text very quickly afterwards from Darlene who was super friendly and easy to talk to. I told her it was my first real car purchase and she was really accommodating of all of my newbie questions and patiently helped me work out the down payment and warranty scenarios to help me figure out the right financing situation for my budget/preferences. Scheduling a test drive was a breeze. Pleasantly low-pressure as well. When it came to the actual signing and pick-up of the car, Darlene and Fumi did the vast majority of the legwork with me over the phone, email, text—the process felt super convenient, and thorough, and the entire process took no more than 30 minutes in total—including wait time. As far as Covid-19 safety, everyone at the dealership was super respectful of protocols, and, when sitting down to sign paperwork I noticed there were cool protective plastic shield dividers at every desk. The best part—aside from trying out my new whip on a 100mi trip on the Merritt the next day after taking it home—was the adorable, calming pup Yogi—who does a great job overseeing all business!
