Good dealership, not seamless Wandered around the lot for less than a minute before a Steve Peterson (salesman) said to come talk at his desk. He quickly took our peramiters and wo Wandered around the lot for less than a minute before a Steve Peterson (salesman) said to come talk at his desk. He quickly took our peramiters and worked with us to find us what we wanted. He even let us wander down the trade-in area to look at new trade-ins that weren't priced yet. Steve is very easy going and easy to work with. We didn't buy a car the first day, but we were introduced to the finance manager and floor manager. The floor manager (Nick) was a little pushy trying to get us to get a lease even after we said we weren't interested. But still a nice guy. We purchased a car through them a week later. The process wasn't seamless though. We got a call to come in and talk to Nick about our price concerns. When we got there, he had no idea why we were there. The car we wanted to see was nowhere to be found, and the previous time we looked at it, they couldn't find the keys so we couldn't look inside or drive it. They finally found the car and keys, and we took it for a test drive. We weren't sold on the car though and wanted to look at the dealership next door before committing, but Nick (floor manager) started throwing out numbers to try and make us stay. The price didtn change much and was still out of our original range, but he threw in an autostart and took our trade-in, so we took their offer. It was a fair deal for the market value of the car (just more than we said we wanted to personally spend). As it goes buying a car, it took longer both visits than we anticipated or wanted to spend. About 4-5 hrs each day. There was a lot of wait time for the manager to be available and get back to us with numbers and details. But once we sat with Rob Perrson (finance manager) things were pretty quick. A lot of signing and agreements. And 30 mins later we walked away with a car. Now, to get the autostart installed. That was a lot more disappointing. We brought in the car expecting the runningboards, autostart, and cup holder for the backseat to all be installed. We agreed on a day, but the service center never called to tell us what time to be there. I had to call to find out, and they were clueless as to why we were coming in. They had to contact Steve and call me back. They eventually said to come in before 9 am. 9am we drop off the car and state that one of the keys and fobs did not work with the car either. The service guy said he can't do anything without Steve's permission. Ok. Fine. We asked about the vehicle we were promised for the day (for free). The service guy (Jeffrey) had no idea what we were talking about. He honestly seemed annoyed with us in general and didn't want to make eye contact. It was off-putting. He didn't even look up from his computer when we later came back with Zach (salesman) to ask further questions. So we went to track down Steve to see what was going on. It was his day off!! We met a new sales guy (Zach I believe) who was fantastic. It wasn't his problem but he stepped in and helped us fix everything. He contacted Steve for us and hooked us up with a car for the day. He even worked with Steve to get the key issue sorted out. I was very impressed with him. He really owned the issue and was pleasant to work with. (Go buy a car from him!) It took a little more than an hour before we got to leave. Then we were informed the cup holder wouldn't be put in until the next day and the autostart wasn't to be installed until 1pm! So we woke up early for nothing. Luckily, we were allowed to drive the "rental" car home (we lived 45 mins away) and came back the next day. Steve was there to make sure it was all taken care of and ready to pick up. He made us a new key too. Through everything, Steve owned it all and took care of any requests or issues. He was very reachable by phone and email, even on his days off. He never left us "stranded" with problems or concerns. He treated us like old friends. Tl:dr The shopping part was great with Steve. He did a great job letting us take our time. No pressure kind of salesman. I wouldn't have purchased there if it weren't for him. The manager Nick was too intense for us, but he compromised a little for us. Finance manager Rob was a very relaxed and put together guy. Did a great job. The service department, Jeffrey, was the worst part. We will not be returning for service. All together it went ok, but not very smooth. I had to keep in continuous contact to make sure we got everything we wanted. More
