Poor customer service and professionalism After finding several 2017 Ford Escape Titanium vehicles online to look at, we verified they were still on the lot and traveled 65 miles to try them o After finding several 2017 Ford Escape Titanium vehicles online to look at, we verified they were still on the lot and traveled 65 miles to try them out. We spent a total amount of 4 hours on the lot after finding the one we were ready to purchase, worked out the final cost and warranty/service details (we were paying cash), we were all set. Then we found out the vehicle only had key which was going to cost extra so we renegotiated a fair price. We were told we'd get a 2 year service warranty valid in our hometown of Granbury, Texas for oil changes, initial inspections and tire rotations. During the finance contract option, we were told the service could only be done complimentary at their dealership which is too far away. After this setback, the sales manager, Jason, came in with a little high pressure tactics of stating the service provided was complimentary only at this dealership and was unwilling to provide any compensation or other service. Jason was a little indifferent, rude and not doing much to make a sale happen. So it didn't happen. I warn all customers that a $3000 package was provided in the original offer that was un-necessary and just frills for lining pockets with profit that wasn't needed. I personally feel that smart car buyers aren't welcome here as they want predatory loans at 25% and cash deals don't give them profit. Good luck to all and thanks for your time Reese. More
