I am extremely satisfied with Andy. Andy called me and asked me if I would like a new car at a lower price. This was a no-brainer. I just leased my third car, a 2012 Honda Pilot. It was so easy. My wife and I were recently in the market for a new car and the CRV was on our “short list” with 5 other vehicles we were considering. We met Jeff shortly after walking through the Herb Chambers, Seekonk and the CRV was on our “short list” with 5 other vehicles we were considering. We met Jeff shortly after walking through the Herb Chambers, Seekonk door and quickly found the manner in which he presented and conducted himself to be a breath of fresh air. In our search for the “right car” my wife and I met with a handful of sales reps from different dealerships around New England and Jeff starkly stood out. He was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating, even offering to come in of his day off. He knew we were on the fence about which car to buy and he simply and sincerely helped to allow us to make an informed decision. I gave a rating of 5 for “Overall Experience” in working solely with Jeff because I truly believe he provided top sales service. However, I feel it is important to note that I had a less than positive experience with a gentleman from the Finance Department, who seemed to be short mannered, disingenuous and pressured us to buy additional coverage. In no way does this reflect poorly on Jeff, but unfortunately it tainted my overall impression Herb Chambers, Seekonk. More
Working with David has been a great experience. I have not purchased a vehicle in over 9 years and he was sensitive to my purchasing situation. His patience allowed me to run different purchasing options not purchased a vehicle in over 9 years and he was sensitive to my purchasing situation. I’m not one to write about the performance of a car dealership, either in their sales or service, but this past visit to Herb Chambers Honda, I experienced a level of professionalism I was inspired to dealership, either in their sales or service, but this past visit to Herb Chambers Honda, I experienced a level of professionalism I was inspired to share. I’ve always allowed Herb Chambers to perform routine service to my 2008 Civic Si, but when I went in to the dealership to have a standard oil change and maintenance check, without an appointment, I was asked if I had any coupons, I answered “No, this was unplanned and wasn’t able to print any”. The service writer proceeded to take out of his pocked and apply it my account. I said, “You don’t need to do that, it’s your own personal coupon for your car”. He said, “It’s all set, my wife has more for her car”. I thanked him for his generosity and professional he bestowed upon me for this simple act of kindness. I said “If the mechanic finds any problems, please correct them, you have my permission” He said that he would never perform any service without approval. I need to mention the service department was busy, and the waiting room was filled with customers (I counted 10) waiting for their service to be completed. I knew it was probably to be longer that the hour wait, but I figured I’d work on my laptop while I waited. Within the next hour, I was informed the car was complete and no other problems were evident and I was “all set”. Thank you Timothy M. Islip for your generosity, your professionalism, and your positive attitude you carried throughout your day. Herb Chambers is fortunate to have such an admirable employee representing their company.
