I have a mixed review about the dealI want to share a balanced review of my experience with Heritage Toyota Owings Mills and its associates. On the positive side, Ayden was friendly and did a great jo balanced review of my experience with Heritage Toyota Owings Mills and its associates. On the positive side, Ayden was friendly and did a great job keeping the mood light during the buying process. Walter, the service General Manager, also stepped in later to help me get a better deal, which I truly appreciated. Those interactions made the purchase process feel personable and fair. When I called about a serious issue with my car, I was told not to bring it in and that “whatever you need is on Parkville, so take it to them.” This was confusing and frustrating, especially because Toyota made a big deal about me bringing the car in for service. When I finally did bring the car in, I was told that Heritage Toyota does not have the equipment or technicians to diagnose my issue — which makes me believe that when I mentioned a concern to Ayden during the test drive (and he offered to have it checked by service), nothing was ever actually done, because the facility was never equipped to diagnose it in the first place. At the time of purchase, both Ayden and Walter assured me that Heritage is a family brand that takes care of its customers, and that any failure occurring within the warranty period would be covered 100%. That promise was a major reason I decided to buy from Heritage. Unfortunately, my experience since then has been a run-around, minimal communication, and no meaningful resolution of a problem that began during the warranty period. It’s disappointing to feel let down by a brand that emphasizes trust, integrity, and customer care on its website, claiming to treat customers “like family.” My experience has not reflected that standard. I hadd a conversation with the GM John and he listened and I was able provide a time line with a good sense of what I've been through to get the problem fixed. He took my frustrations into consideration we helping resolve my issue and we came were able to come to a resolution. Aslo, I’m grateful for Ayden’s kindness and for Walter's later efforts to get me a good deal. More
