Thank you for the feedback on your recent service visit. While we try to meet the customer expectations when they come in for service; in some instances we can't. I did pull your paperwork to see what type of work was requested and signed for on your vehicle. It does show that you authorized and signed for the diagnostic charge. The recalls were done to the vehicle and have nothing to do with the other issue you were having with the vehicle. I understand you had issues with the power sliding door. The technician had to take the door panel and the rain guard off, also had to remove the inside latch to gain access to the outside handle and cables. The outside door handle is damaged and the cables are stretched along with the mounting bracket and secondary cable is damaged. Unfortunately you can't see that by just looking at it, the tech had to take the time to take it apart to find the problem. The fee that you signed for and paid for was to find out what was wrong with the sliding door. The diagnostic that you paid is included in the total amount to repair the sliding door. The technicians are certified Honda technicians and do not get paid by the hour as they are flat rate, hence why the diagnostic was explained to you upfront and when you picked your vehicle up.
