It’s the best experience I’ve ever had buying a car! My sales rep Michael Nunez was phenomenal! He was the sales rep that didn’t treat me like a sales rep! I recently visited Hyundai of Asheville (Tunnel Rd, Asheville, NC) for oil change service and had for a second time a bad experience with Fred Retzlaff. After declining additional services—which I didn’t ask for or want—his attitude noticeably changed. He responded dismissively, and as I declined items again, he laughed aloud at me while walking away. This mockery made the interaction deeply uncomfortable and unprofessional. It’s disappointing, especially given how many other customers report courteous and respectful service at this dealership . Unfortunately, my experience with Fred Retzlaff was entirely contrary to that reputation. I hope Hyundai leadership addresses this behavior—customer service should never feel punitive or mocking. I will not return and can’t recommend this particular advisor. More
